Job Description

The incumbent will work with the various stakeholders (Academic Director, relevant faculty members, students, internal and external stakeholders) to ensure the smooth running of the admissions process of the designated programmes. S/he will have an important public relations role representing the MSc Programmes Office, NUS Business School, and NUS both internally and externally and will contribute to the Business School’s mission and values.

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Contribute to a dynamic team involved in the growth of the MSc Programmes Office
• Oversee and manage the admissions administration and processes (e.g. review application materials, organize/conduct interviews, prepare reports and admissions materials for management review, etc.)
• Liaise with prospective applicants on application documentation and submissions
• Oversee and provide support to students for admissions-related matters (e.g. Application process, Matriculation, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with faculty in conducting and transcribing admission interviews
• Contribute to the review and improvement of the admissions processes
• Conduct administrative briefing sessions for students
• Provide admission and general counselling to students
• Generate reports for the management team
• Coordinate overseas delegation visits and summer programmes
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Deliver a superior level of customer service and programme satisfaction to internal and external stakeholders
• Support Welcome Sessions, Orientation and other programme events organized by the MSc Programmes Office
• Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Director, Academic Director and Programme Office

Qualifications

• Degree from a reputable University in any discipline
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a higher education institution
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior-level internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational ability and high attention to detail in tracking and managing admissions for academic programmes
• Observant in identifying process, operational and service gaps and propose solutions
• Passionate in seeking constant improvements to processes and service delivery
• Strong customer service focus in cross-cultural environments
• Self-driven with a high level of autonomy and yet be a team player simultaneously
• Able to set priorities, multi-task and work under pressure
• Proactive and demonstrate creative, innovative and service-oriented approaches to problem solving
• Willingness to adopt flexible work hours and undertake business travel if needed
• Internet savvy with good computer (Microsoft Office Applications) skills. Programming knowledge will be an added advantage.

The Role

This is a full time and permanent position to join our Far East Sales Team, based at our office in Singapore. Reporting to the Managing Direct – Far East, the Sales Administrator will play a key role in assisting with incoming inquiries for Retail and Event Rental Sales in both Singapore and Hong Kong. You will also play a key support role for our Business Development Managers in both locations. You will join an established team with a wealth of experience in Lowe’s products and services and work closely with the internal team to deliver against customer needs and requirements.

Key job responsibilities include:

· Administering incoming inquiries, quotes and sales orders through CRM tools

· Generating and managing all new business leads on the internal platforms.

· Assisting with business development outreach and tracking campaigns through CRM

· Managing and coordinating deliveries with driver network

· Responding to customer queries and sharing updates on their orders

· Assisting and providing administrative support to Business Development Managers when required

· Raising and chasing Purchase Orders

JOB SUMMARY:

The key responsibilities are to manage the sales activities and maximize the sales & profitability of Fatty Acids and its derivatives & Fatty Esters.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as primary point of contact between the company and key customers, implement plans aimed at business retention and improve customer satisfaction
• Understand and keep track of changing key customer needs and business environments to ensure the most appropriate support is provided
• Identify key decision makers & develop strong relationship that support retention and translate into new revenue opportunities
• Lead and manage all aspects of new business development activities including strategy development & tactical execution, setting account goals and objectives, driving effort to achieve them.
• Manage distributors and lead/guide them to achieve key deliverables.
• Deploy the right distribution channels for global, regional key accounts and local customers.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 to 7 years in Oleo chemical sales.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets.
• Proven experience in growing business portfolios throught new business development and market share gain.
• Proven ability to understand market trends and develop sales strategies to take advantage of these trends.
• Proven experience in key account management, customer engagement and management.
• Exposure in handling clients from different cultural background.
• Exposure in supply chain management is a must.
