Datacenter Operations Engineer

Our Data center Operations Team is involved in the daily management of our current 6 data center facilities in the APAC region (Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia) and we are about to open 3 more data center location in Singapore, Japan and Australia later this year. • Installation, configuration, relocation, and removal of server equipment at the data center

Requirements:

The lab of Computational Transcriptomics at the Genome Institute of Singapore (led by Dr Jonathan Göke) is offering a position for a postdoctoral fellow to develop methods for analyzing long read transcriptomics data. The successful candidate will lead software and methods development to analyze RNA modifications from nanopore direct RNA-Seq data. The candidate is expected to develop new supervised and unsupervised approaches using statistics and machine learning, and to apply them to clinical samples. The position will be in close collaboration with experimental and clinical collaborators and industry partners, and provide full access to the capabilities of the sequencing platform.

The IT Support Officer will ensure the integrity and stability of in-house ICT systems that support key organisational functions across the client business. This will be achieved through supporting, maintaining and optimising ICT software and hardware, desktop and printing, and local and enterprise applications and associated operating systems as required.
