• 5 to 10 years of work experience in actuarial function, preferably in financial reporting.
• Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science
• Good progress in actuarial exams.
• Strong in project management and able to communicate in simple and concise way to stakeholders.
• Technical, sensitive to details and ability to apply critical thinking.
• Adaptable and open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working.

The Cluster Assistant Accountant assists the Cluster Accountant in the supervision of the Hotel finance office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger reconciliation.

What will I be doing?

As the Cluster Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow-up of accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing process as directed. Mainly focus on Accounts Payable, Cost Control and General Ledger function.
• Ensure all reports are submitted promptly such as weekly bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and etc.
• Conducts and track Hotel Outlet’s beverage inventories on monthly basis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly food & beverage reports.
• Work with Cluster Accountant and assist in the supervision of Hotel Finance Accounts Payable teams, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
• Assisting on quarterly GST submission.
• Handle special project assignments as requested by the Cluster Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
