RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Office of Finance.
• Compliance: Process customer invoices/ funding claims in accordance with policies, procedures and funding agreement. Follow up with customer and funding agency when debts are due.
• Maintenance of Master Records: Update customer master records and ensure integrity of data.
• Data Analytics and Dashboarding: Analyse data to identify trends and/ or anomalies and prepare dashboards for reporting.
• Reporting: Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all billing-related entries are accurate and complete, with compliance to revenue policies and regulations. Prepare audit schedules and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Governance: Provide support queries from internal and external audit.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to deliver timely billings and receipting and streamline the billing and collection process.
• Customer service: Handle customer inquiries and disputes related to billing, providing customer support and resolving issues promptly.
• Process Optimization: Analyze current billing processes to identify areas for improvement and work with IT to develop solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Policy Review: Gather feedback and suggest refinements to policy to strengthen control.
• System Implementation and Upgrades: Participate in the planning and execution of system implementations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and conduct UAT for new systems or features, ensuring they meet business requirements and function correctly before full deployment.

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline, or individuals currently pursuing CA qualifications with ISCA.
• Recent graduates with at least 2 years of audit experience may apply.
• Experience with system changes implementations and UAT.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software and databases.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (SAP, Oracle etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
• Familiar with BI tools (e.g. Qlik sense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

As a Senior OutSystems Developer, will lead a team of at least 8 developers across payment and non-payment development tracks. It will be responsible for ensuring high-quality builds, preparing technical documentation, conducting code reviews, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers, ensuring smooth delivery across development tracks.
• Oversee and ensure defect-free builds aligned with business requirements.

As an OutSystems Developer, will ensure high-quality, defect-free builds that align with requirements. Will also perform sufficient system testing (ST) to meet deadlines and prepare necessary technical documentation.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Operate, install, and monitor big data platforms to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain the normal operation of multiple core systems for big data and online computing, resolving issues within agreed SLAs.
• Assess infrastructure requirements for deployment, upgrade, and optimization activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design, configuration, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
• Ensure all deployments and operations comply with prevailing security standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Provide expert recommendations on data governance practices and system optimization best practices.

Requirements:

Primary Skillset:

Proven experience as a DevOps or System Engineer in Unix environments.

Technical Proficiency:

• Solid foundational knowledge in computer software and understanding of Linux operating systems, including storage and network I/O principles.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, Shell scripting, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with tools and platforms like Cloudera, Informatica, or Denodo is highly advantageous.
• Experience with distributed computing and big data systems, including Hadoop, HDFS, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Spark, or Flink, is preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Strong understanding of data structures and system design principles.
• Knowledge of information security principles and best practices.

Run daily operations of La Médiathèque, in accordance with the library policies and procedures such as:

• Service desk duties: checking library items in and out, inspecting materials for damage.
• Maintenance of the library book collection: shelving returns and maintaining shelf order, repairing books and cleaning.
• Provide assistance and support to library users: locating resources, use of online catalogue,…
• Curate thematic or seasonal displays.
• Assist the head librarian in organising activities and events.
• Other duties as directed by the Head librarian (solicit late returns, enforce fines…)

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, with 2 years of relevant working experience gained in an administrative or customer-facing role.

- Excellent Customer Service skills with an ability to deal with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

- Familiar with digital, internet and social media online tools.

- Knowledge in French is essential (minimum B1 level).

- Knowledge of Library systems will be an added advantage but is not a pre-requisite.

- 20 hours per week - Minimum 3 days per week, including weekends.
