Here's your chance to join the Skillsfuture Work and Study Programme, an employment which will help deepen your skills through practical job training and facilitated learning in the business & financial industry as a WSP Trainee.

This one-year traineeship in collaboration with the local polytechnic provides an opportunity for fresh ITE/Polytechnic graduates to be coached to operate in the real business environment, while pursuing their part-time Diploma certification. Trainees will be given wide exposure to the financial services sector, and will benefit from the various skills and capabilities development through on-the-job training where they will assist in the various aspects of work such as sales admin, marketing, customer service, office operations and management support.This will lead them to full time positions in the organisation if they are found suitable.

Requirements:

• Singaporeans or PRs who have a desire to learn

• ITE/Local Polytechnic Diploma who graduated or completed NS within the last 3 years

• Those who graduated within the last 5 years may also be considered

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Resourceful and able to work independently

• Self-driven and motivated to complete tasks given.

• Preferrable with business/financial educational background or have a keen interest in finance industry.

• Admissions Officer – Direct School Admission (DSA) for Junior High (JH) & Senior High (SH). Conceptualises the process, registration website,database of students, informing students and parents of test date,preparation for selection interview, compile final list, assist VP/Year Heads in answering and writing replies to parents and students. Assist VP/Year Head with Direct School Admission (DSA) /Joint Admission Exercise (JAE) appeal matters and student enrolments for returning Singaporean/International students. Junior High Student Matters
• Health (Mar to Apr) & dental screening (Feb) , National Registration Identity Card (NRIC), Quality of School Experience (QSE) survey (July) – To conceptualise and co-ordinate based on students’ timetable and informing personal mentors.
• Conceptualised Junior High Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM) (Apr,June, July)
• 3rd language updates and liaising with Language centre
• Sec 1 posting exercise (End Nov to Dec)

• School tour/Open house: Assist VP/Year Heads with website registration, school list analysis Parents Support relations
• Support Parent-In-Action (PAACT) with logistics for AGM, ParentIn-Action (PAACT) Executive Committee meetings, Principal-parent Meeting, teachers’ day celebration, coordinating PAACT membership registration during Junior High1 Orientation and informing parents of school events, updates from MOE etc.

Job Description & Requirements

1. To check all drawings (including authority, ID & shop drawings) to verify and ensure that works are carried out in accordance to approved drawings & statutory requirements

2. Inspect and monitor quality of architectural materials, work-in-progress and signing-off on installation, workmanship & quality of work

3. Carry out daily inspection of works in progress, sign off inspection requests and raise Non-Conformity Reports where required

4. Carry out the duties required as site supervisor under the Building Control Act and Regulations or other duties as required by other Authorities

5. Supervise and enforce site quality control

6. Responsible for the co-ordination of site works to ensure construction safety

7. To provide professional engineering services for reviews required under the contract including variation works
