Testing & Commissioning Manager

1. Job Description:

· Developing testing & commissioning plans and procedures for SCADA systems

· Conducting site visits to ensure that SCADA systems are installed according to design specifications

· Conducting testing to ensure that the system is functioning safely and efficiently

· Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the commissioning process.

· Lead and develop the respective ownership of all activities pertaining to commissioning which will involve partial oversight of project engineers and site supervisors as it pertains to commissioning scope.

· Review and acknowledge/approve on all project documents including design drawings, equipment submittal, specifications, quality control plan and understand project requirements pertaining to start-up and commissioning compliances

· Ensuring that all systems and components are tested in accordance with project requirements

· Analyzing test results and identifying any issues or deficiencies

· Working closely with system provider / sub-contractor, design and construction teams to resolve any technical issues during testing and commissioning

Within BSO, the TOC team is responsible for meeting the global tax and statutory compliance requirements and the GL team is responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of the consolidation reports. The department balances a mix of internal resources and third parties to efficiently meet global compliance requirements.

The department focuses on transparent and accurate status reporting, maintaining a strong internal control framework, leveraging technology and standard processes to meet its operational targets and satisfy stakeholders.

The role will require a self-starter mentality and a progressive drive to bring in new processes into the TOC department. The performance is determined not only on the stated objectives but on the collaboration and service management provided to stakeholders. Also, the role is encouraged to bring innovative ideas and challenge existing practices to meet stakeholder needs.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor degree in finance or accounting with certification in accounting or tax profession would be preferred
• 8+ years in Tax or General Accounting functions in MNC and global share service environment preferred, familiar with APAC countries regulations related to tax, accounting and other local rules.
• Utilising Business Intelligence to standardize and enhance reporting capabilities and speed, perform data analysis and drive problem solving. Able to recommend improvements to data structures to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Experience in global companies or those having global tax compliance requirements
• Ability to collaborate globally, regionally and locally with internal stakeholders, global third-party service providers, and compliance bodies.
• Experience in global process transitions demonstrated through shared service center experience or involvement in projects or process improvements

• Willingness to travel international (within APAC) when business needs

Responsibilities:

● Develop and Maintain Backend API Services:Design, build, and optimize backend APIs to support seamless integration across systems and services.

● Architect Core Services: Design and develop new architectures for internal core services to enhance scalability, performance, and maintainability.

● Innovate Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical solutions for business challenges and implement them effectively.

● Code Quality and Standards: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.

Skills /Qualifications required:

Infrastructure and Security Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks
• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain security and network equipment.
• Secure networks through firewalls, password protection, RADIUS solution, and other systems
• Monitor network activity to identify issues early, perform troubleshooting and escalate to higher tier level.
• Maintain good relationship with End-user

Job Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with security systems: Firewall, Anti-Virus, MFA (e.g. RSA), CISCO ISE
• Proven Experience working with the following systems : FortiNet FWs, CheckPoint FW, AV Systems, Microsoft AD with special expertise in GPO, Trend Micro, Splunk, Thales HSM, Microsoft Certificates.
• Advantages: Experience in other IT infrastructure such as VMWare ESXi, Vcenter, NetApp Storage, CISCO Network Switches.
• Knowledge in networking and protocols (Switching, routing, Layer2-7).
• Knowledge in hardening end-equipment (FW, switches), as well as software (Windows Server OS, Linux CentOS, and other common OS).
• Incident response management – a plus.

• Ensure a correct standard of stock rotation, making sure food products are used prior to the best date
• Ensure all portion controls are strictly adhered to
• Ensure the highest standard of food production and presentation at all times as per standard of performance manual and recipe.
• Ensure work surfaces, refrigeration, stores sire cleaned and sanitised before end of shift
• Ensure a high standard of personal appearance at all times, including the wearing of the correct protective clothing as laid in the code of practices.
• Ensure the kitchen is secure, clean and safe before going off shift
• Produce recipes and costing in conjunction with the Head Chef or another senior member of staff as required, assisting to maintain that monthly profit margins are met.
• Attend all team briefing.

• To oversee the booking and estate management of the shared facilities in ACS Barker Road Campus. The shared facilities include Auditorium, Arts Centre, Sports Hall, Swimming Pool, Futsal Court and Tennis Courts.
• Source for opportunities for external bookings of shared facilities (e.g. concerts, workshops, conferences, events) and facilitate bookings of both schools and external parties;
• Provide logistic support for external events and programmes;
• Supervise a team of cleaners to maintain the cleanliness of the campus and their training and development;
• Liaise with contractors on estate maintenance and improvement works;
• Liaise with external hirers on their bookings, usage and payment;
• Coordinate the bookings for both schools and external hirers;
• Coordinate with both schools on the campus finance matters (annual budget and expenditure expenses, fixed assets of campus) and update School Leaders on the income and expenses pattern on a quarterly basis
• In unforeseen health and safety events, the individual must be able to perform the duties of a Safe Management Officer and is able to plan,coordinate and implement the prescribed Safe Management Measures based on legal requirements.

Qualification:

• Possess a Diploma in any discipline (those without diploma but with relevant experience and expertise can also apply)
• Candidates who have at least 5 years of working experience preferably in marketing / logistics / estate management
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
• Good organising abilities, interpersonal and communication skills
