Job Description:

An Assistant Cook, or Assistant Chef ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists Cooks to prepare and arrange noodle food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities:

· Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, food ingredients

· Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

· Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment

· Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens

· Managing inventory, unloading supplies and organising the storeroom

· Participates in and/or contributes to programs or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.

· Maintains clean work areas, utensils, and equipment.

· Develop new menu items while improvising the existing ones.

· Maintain and manage kitchen expenses,food costs, inventory, and staffing with in budgetary limits.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, as well as maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in reservation system.

• Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at market sales strategy meetings.

• Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to properties.

• Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.

• Accurately generate, process and update all property and market Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.

• Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks.

• Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.

• Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems.

The incumbent shall be responsible for the processing of the full cycle of payroll computation on a monthly basis. Timely and accurate processing is required to meet the deadline of the closing.

Senior HR Executive reports directly to the Head of Human Resource and able to work independently. He/She will have to liaise with all Sections/Departments to gather the overtime claims and incentive claim for processing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Verify the attendance of employees accordingly to the roster.

-Verify the claim of overtime hours, night shift allowance and split shift allowance

- Carry out data entry into the payroll software systems

-Prepare the payroll summary to be checked by the Head of HR.

-Download the bank file to be submitted to Finance

-CPF Contribution

-Submission of the foreign workers income tax clearance with Inland Revenue of Singapore.

- Process employee resignation (tax clearance and salary release)

-Compile salary data monthly for Senior Management.

-GPML/GPCL/GPPL, all govenrment claims

Job Description:

• Review all facilities with an aesthetic eye for detail;

- Review and reconcile the guest ledger, city ledger and credit card to the Accounts Receivable.

- Review the interface between Point of Sale (POS) systems and Hotel Management Systems ensuring that revenue data flows accurately and seamlessly between the systems.

- Review of daily no show and cancellation report and ensure that no show and cancellation revenue have been properly accounted for.

- Examine daily reports for paid outs, rebates, adjustments, house use, and complimentary rooms to ensure that each transaction is supported by relevant documentation and approved by the appropriate authorized personnel.

- Review daily Food & Beverage void and discount reports to ensure all entries are accurately documented and supported by appropriate justification.

- Responsible for conducting monthly surprise cash count at Front Office and F&B outlets.

- Ensure the foreign currency exchange rates are updated regularly and to check on the accuracy of such rates.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Processing guest check-ins and room assignments following hotel’s rate structures, discounts, sell/upsell strategies and accommodate to special requests whenever possible
• To provide assistance when required for luggage’s, safety box, additional guest room keys, transportation etc.
• Collect payment in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures

Essential Functions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 5 years’ experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

OR

• Degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; at least 10 years’ experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Enter status of rooms cleaned.
• Complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition of each assigned area. Complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
• Identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by Housekeeper.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping and Internal Laundry. Directs and works with employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Coordinates the housekeepers and works as a team, creating a positive environment.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Housekeeping Operations

• Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
• Works effectively with the Engineering department on guestroom maintenance needs.
• Supervises the property general cleaning schedule.
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
• Assists in the ordering of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
• Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
• Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding.
• Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Plan the staff needs to support the team
