Job Description

• In charge of the daily mise en place and ordering for the assigned section.
• Carry out given recipes and instructions with precision and speed.
• Ensure strict health and hygiene practices.
• Cleaning, organize and taking care of kitchen equipment as per instruction manuals
• Receiving of stock and stock rotation.
• Monitoring food portion and waste to maintain profit margin.
• Preparing staff meal on rotational basis
• Adhere to the schedule set by Sous Chef or Head Chef

Job Requirement

• Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Minimum with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Demi Chef or Chef De Partie cook in a casual restaurant.

JOB SUMMARY

1. Responsible for managing Special Corporate segment of the Hotel (i.e. RFP Accounts).
2. To identify, solicit & prospect new business opportunities with potential revenue for all areas of the Hotel i.e. Guestrooms (Transient & Groups), catering events, F&B outlets, Retail etc.
3. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new corporate customers to enable future bookings.
4. Activities include sales calls, entertainments, sales trips, roadshows, site inspections etc.
5. To meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
6. To generate a YOY ADR increase (stipulated %) for the RFP accounts.
7. To contribute positively to Engagement Survey department result by being proactive in all aspects of department and interdepartmental issues.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To meet and exceed individual assigned sales goal and shared responsibility for team members for achievement of total department sales budget. Derive creative upsell initiatives.
• To conduct 5 sales calls daily and 3 sales activities ie Entertainment & Site Inspection per week.
• To submit sales call report on weekly basis.
• To identify and develop new potential accounts (to prospect at least 2 new accounts per week).
• Develop sales plans to generate business from identified markets/accounts.
• Determine corporate account needs and initiate sales activities of each assigned market/account to enable future bookings.

• Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Sales & Marketing
• At least 3 years of relevant Manager experience or 2 years of relevant Assistant Manager experience in handling Proactive Sales (Room Sales)

What to expect

As the Senior Brand Executive for our Skincare business, you will be in charge of executing the brand management tasks for 2 of our core brands, namely Bifesta and Saborino.

You will play a key role in helping to achieve the set brand KPIs and bring the brands to its next stage of growth. At the same time, you will also have the opportunity to better understand the internal workings of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.

You will be in charge of:

• Develop campaign communications and run integrated marketing plans for the assigned portfolios (Ladies Skincare) to drive brand growth through marketing/digital marketing/trade activities/events etc
• Support in developing and implementing overall brand-level marketing related initiatives (new and current launches – through campaigns/digital marketing etc) by working with relevant external partners/principals to ensure campaign timelines are on track and met
• Responsible for conceiving and promoting new and innovative growth campaigns for the brands
• Build and execute online and offline marketing initiatives to achieve the company’s business development objectives
• Develop distribution channels and meet trade buyers occasionally to discuss business plan growth
• Support sales team with any requested below-the-line materials to bring maximum awareness, store visibility and exposure for promotions specific to channels
• Work and coordinate with external agencies on promoters, sampling activation, events and logistics arrangement to execute trade activities etc
• Manage all operational aspects of assigned brands (which includes inventory management and maintaining given budget to monitor ROI)

Who we are looking for

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications and New Media or related discipline
• 1 to 2 years of experience in product management, formulating marketing strategies and executing marketing campaigns; preferably in the FMCG industry (Beauty and Personal Care)
• 1 to 2 years of experience in events planning and handling the full spectrum of marketing campaigns preferred
• Possesses a strong passion for skincare
• Prior experience working with marketing/brand agencies will be an advantage

BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for the daily purchasing duties in Oracle and Simphony Point of Sale and assist on ad-hoc sourcing of quotations. Coordinates paperwork relating to the procurement process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities, including adhoc duties assigned by management:

• Daily processing of Purchase Requisition to Purchase Orders in Oracle and Simphony.
• To assist Food & Beverage department to build materials and recipe cost in procurement systems.
• Handle daily market list ordering. Receives PR list from the end user via system daily and arranges for delivery of those items daily.
• Manage the suppliers’ database by updating the details and bank information.
• Sourcing of vendors/products and negotiate best deals for company to obtain cost savings and other purchase terms at the optimal level without sacrificing quality.
• Conduct Request for Quotations/Tenders in accordance with the Company Procurement Policy and prepare recommendation proposal.
• Conduct market surveys of all items to be purchased for the purpose of cost savings.
• Follow up on open purchase orders with the relevant Head of Departments.
