• Report any anomalies in sets received (e.g. incomplete, broken instruments)
• Ensure that both operating rooms and equipment are maintained in a permanent state of readiness
• Examining patients' histories for allergies or illnesses that would affect anesthesia
• Evaluating and preparing patients, providing education about surgery and recovery, and discussing the side effects of anesthesia with them
• Determining the amount and type of anesthesia needed for the patient and the best way to administer it.
• Preparing and administering the proper dose of anesthesia
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and their dose of anesthesia during medical procedures
• Overseeing patients' safety during anesthesia recovery
• Evaluating patients' progress before, during, and after medical procedures
• Performing some administrative duties, such as ordering anesthesia, training new staff and overseeing department finances

Requirements:

• Possess Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
• SNB registered Nurse
• At least 2 years relevant experience in healthcare operating theatre settings
• Able to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Proactive and supportive in carrying out new initiatives
• Able to commit to staggered shift hours; working Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm and alternate Saturday 8:30am - 1pm
• Prior Experience as a scrub nurse would be preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fire protection team (consisting of 1 Assistant Engineer, 3 Technical Officers & 4 workers)
• Develop and implement fire protection strategies, standards, and policies in line with industry regulations.
• Create fire protection plans by working closely with other departments and contractors
• Design and execute fire safety training programs for facility staff and workers.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance.
• Stay abreast of developments in fire protection systems, codes, and standards. Ensure the team remains updated on best practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and other stakeholders to guarantee compliance with codes and regulations.
• Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems & also to ensure all fire protection systems are in good working condition
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing regular reports to the Director of Facilities Management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of projects
• Liaise with and coordinate with the clients.
• Attend meetings when required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facilities, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Preferably with a minimum of 3 or 5 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards is advantageous.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop creative solutions.
• Having LTA /Tunnel experiences will be an added advantage

Reception & Office Coordination

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, managing reception duties such as welcoming guests and handling incoming parcels and deliveries.
• Answer and direct calls from the main office phone line professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate the receipt and distribution of incoming mail and letters, including opening the office letterbox.
• Ensure the office pantry and boardroom are well-stocked, clean, and organized at all times.

Office Supplies & Inventory Management

• Manage the purchase and replenishment of pantry supplies, office stationery, and other essential items.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and maintain accurate inventory records.

Event & Festive Coordination

• Assist in organizing office events such as festive celebrations, birthday celebrations, and regular activities like Monthly Fruits Day and Birthday Celebrations.
• Coordinate the purchase and delivery of festive gifts and goodies for staff and stakeholders.

Administrative Support

• Assist with employee claims, including verifying receipts, scanning documents, and maintaining proper records.
• Support HR-related tasks such as arranging flight bookings and performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.
