A dedicated fleet of 14 vessels is operated by a highly qualified and skilled crew pool, with extensive livestock-handling experience. Commercial and technical management, vessel operations, crewing and QHSE tasks are carried out in house by Livestock Express teams in the Netherlands and Singapore. From these offices, approximately 20 staff support the Company’s activities.

What will you do?
As Operator you will be responsible for:

• Efficient implementation, execution and supervision of assigned commercial contracts; pre-dominantly voyage charters, ensuring the highest financial results;
• Facilitating smooth communication between various parties (vessels, customers, technical managers, port agents etc.) involved in the execution of commercial contracts;
• Maintaining contract administration for all assigned vessels in IMOS;
• Providing reports and analyses to maximise effectiveness of commercial contracts;
• Planning and fixing bunker stems;

In this position, you report to the Operations Manager.

Who are we looking for?
MINIMUM education level :

• A Bachelor’s degree education in Marine, Business Administration or equivalent;

Work Experience;

• Experience in similar maritime commercial position;
• Preferably 3 years experience

Knowledge, skills and abilities;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s) as required;
• Excellent reporting skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and preferably IMOS (voyage administration system)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall Coordination and Administration
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the programme's activities, including budgets, schedules and SSG-funding processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the IPM inbox by addressing the IPM students' IPM specific queries.
  • Ensure a smooth learning journey for all students throughout their tenure in SMU.
• Communication and Reporting
  • Maintain regular communication channels with learners, faculty, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports on programme performance and outcomes for senior management.
  • Support the Programme coordinator during the quarterly IPM Curriculum Committee meeting.
• Programme schedule and logistics
  • Work with relevant Shared services to ensure adequate resources for teaching and learning resources and programme logistics are in place.
  • Setting up of course schedule in the LMS for IPM specific modules.
  • Organize and manage programme-related events (Exams, orientations, lunches).

• Diploma or degree with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiar with operations in the education sector.
• IT-savvy and proficient in Office 365.
• Proficient in using Learning Management and Training Management System portal is an added advantage.
• At least 1 to 2 years organising events in the education sector.
• A resourceful style with the ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects as well as to be a team player who is eager to collaborate with others.
• Meticulous, has an eye for detail and appreciates the value and need for thorough planning and good documentation.

Job Description:

• Assist with leasing sales admin process and coordinating with inter-department for day-to-day work
• Handling of incoming calls and providing customer service
• Administer and handle the latest Enterprise Resources Planner (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Responsible for accuracy data entry input; filing for all data record documentation in the ERP & CRM systems
• Prepare printed materials and compilation of reports
• Liaising with vendors, suppliers & partners for administrative & payment arrangements
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of processes and able to quickly grasp system flows
• Follow up closely with the team's work progress

Requirements

• Min qualification diploma with 2 years’ experience in admin work
• Similar experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Strong computer skill, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Bilingual in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate with customer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
