IN BRIEF

The Associate Producer is responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of client projects, managing day-to-day activities for assigned projects and supporting Producers, Senior Producers and the Executive Producer to deliver projects on brief and on budget.

Operational Delivery

• Manage small scale projects, or project areas, from end to end, including the alignment of all relevant internal stakeholders needed to ensure a successful delivery
• Inputting into key project planning documents such as timelines and budgets across all allocated workstreams and projects
• Provide regular updates to the Project Lead, proactively raising any risks, issues or concerns, working collaboratively towards a solution
• Sourcing & management of suppliers, in response to specific project and business needs
• Providing additional production support across the Integrated Production Department as required e.g., pitches, new business proposals etc

Creative

• Responsible for ensuring cross-team collaboration from design through to implementation
• Understanding of the creative process, using the correct project documentation to brief and manage creative workstreams

Client Relationships

• Contribute towards the client relationship via the successful delivery and management of your own work streams and deliverables
• Partner with specialists across strategy, creative, digital and production as well as with account managers, so they can manage client expectations accordingly
• Demonstrate an active understanding of the client’s objectives

New Business Development

• Support the pitch lead, when required, by managing relevant Integrated Production elements of the pitch process - ie venue sourcing

Finance

• Responsible for obtaining reviewing and responding to vendor quotes, ensuring we work with best in class partners and vendors, including regular negotiations to drive value, profitability and efficiency
• Accountable for accuracy of budget estimates for all project deliverables within your remit
• Identify and escalate potential budget/financial issues
• Understand and effectively manage PO and supplier invoicing processes
• Understand and take initial steps to address impact of changes on project budget and financial metrics, with limited guidance

About you

• 2-4 years + experience in a Production role, within an agency environment
• You’re a solutions focused & creative problem solver – presenting solutions to roadblocks in order to move forward
• You’re decisive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• You have the ability to articulate a clear vision of project success, in order to gain the confidence of a client audience
• You are always willing to help other people within the project, across departments

Job Responsibilities

• Loyalty - Steer and manage the strategic and operational functions of the PLC VIP Program. Lead the optimisation of campaigns in order to maximize acquisition of new VIP customers and retention of existing customers.
• Partnerships (as an extension of Loyalty) - Engage and maintain collaborations with partners (subsidiaries, shopping malls and potential partners) to enhance our customers’ experience with PLC and to place PLC at the top of the minds of the pets community.
• Events (as extension of CRM) - Participate in pets related events, ensure these events are operated smoothly and event objectives are met.
• Public Relations - Work with PR agency to ensure appropriate response to customer feedback on social channels & forums as well as press queries
• CSR - Facilitate requests for donations and support from various communities, and ensure Pet Lovers Foundation funds are properly managed and maintained.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, PR or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Loyalty or CRM, partnership, events and CSR management.
• Experience of working in retail environment and in CRM
• Highly motivated and approachable, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.

Job Overview:

Astor International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons designed to help students acquire English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This role involves working with students of diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds to ensure their academic and social success.

The Context:

Astor opened in August of 2019 to provide quality, affordable education to international students. Astor provides a focused and creative learning environment that specifically grows student understanding in Mathematics, Literacy, Humanities and Science whilst embracing art, music, dance and drama as an important tool in which to explore thinking and learning. By being intentional in our program, students finish at 1pm, allowing them the time needed for external coaching, training and programs that have otherwise not been accommodated for the academic part of the days.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Planning and Delivery:
   • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the proficiency levels and learning needs of students.
   • Use interactive and engaging teaching methods to build students’ English language skills.
   • Incorporate a variety of enquiry based activities to enhance the learning experience.
2. Assessment and Evaluation:
   • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
   • Provide feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.
   • Prepare and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
3. Student Support:
   • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
   • Support students in overcoming language barriers in academic and social contexts.
   • Address individual learning needs by providing additional resources or one-on-one support.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work collaboratively with other teachers, and administrators to support student learning.
   • Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress, achievements, and challenges.
   • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on ESL teaching strategies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Certification: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or a state-approved ESL teaching certification.
• Skills:
  • Native English speaker.
  • Strong knowledge of second language acquisition principles and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
