Job Responsibilities

1. Assist the Sports & Recreation Manager in planning and running the department and all sporting activities for members.

2. Supervise the activities of the Sports & Recreation Executive/Officers to provide timely and effective services at various assigned areas.

3. Maintain and upkeep all Sports & Recreation facilities

4. Overseas daily operations of the department.

5. Train and upskill all staff, identify courses and programs.

6. Handle all the SGCC programs/events including planning, marketing and execution.

Requirements

• University Degree/Diploma in Sports Management or a related field

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience

• Possess event management and partnership relationship management or where relevant and equivalent

• Ability to multi-task with self-driven attitude, detail-orientated and good time management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and negotiation skills

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES (E.g. Job Scope) :

Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist and support Project Director (PD) and Contract Manager (CM) on cost and contractual issues, e.g.: -

· Procurement including quantities take-off, compilation of relevant Specifications and Requirements, drafting the work matrix, sourcing quotations, cost comparison, procurement assessment and recommendation to management for approval.

· To administrate and deal with sub-contractor or supplier, including preparing subcontract document (based on the approved template), progress payment evaluation, assessing variation orders, final account etc.

·.To assist PD and CM preparing Main Contract progress claim, variation order and claim justification.

REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :

· Educational Level and the field of study: _Tertiary Education in Quantity Surveying fields

· Type of experience required: experience in infrastructure or underground tunnelling projects

· Amount of experience: 8 years related experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Related tender work experience would be considered too.

Responsibility:
-Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel and gasoline engines used in construction and excavation machinery.

-Diagnose and repair issues with construction machinery, including loaders, bulldozers, excavators, and cranes. Ensure that all equipment complies with safety standards.

-Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify faults or potential issues. Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

-Implement and adhere to scheduled preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

-Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance and repairs. Ensure that all equipment is operated and maintained safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training or certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.

-Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a mechanic, with hands-on experience in engine repair, cranes and excavator operation, and -construction equipment maintenance.

-Must be very familiar with XCMG machines.

-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- More than 20 years of fund management experience

- Prior experience in managing at least US$ 200 million in private equity, hedge or mutual funds

- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Public Accountant

- Must be a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst

- CMFAS licence holder with MAS will be a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Manager in overseeing all quantity surveying tasks related to Sub-Contracts, Works Orders, and Purchase Orders for assigned projects.

• Manage contractual and costing matters, such as verifying invoices for payment, assessing contractors' claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expense, final account and handling of contractual disputes.

• Based on information provided, update variation in claims, projects handover dates

• Submit and monitor monthly and final project claims

• Address concerns regarding payment claim breakdown formats/ amounts, invoicing, variation orders, final accounts, etc.

• Channelling other enquiries to the respective persons-in-charge

• Ensuring proper filing and storage of related documents (e.g., certificates, variation orders, Engineer's Instructions, Statements of Final Account, etc.).

• Obtain Monthly Progress Reports by deadline

• To liaise with relevant Dept for IFCA activity code cost to date and budget monitoring

• Ensure prepared subcontract agreement scope of work, pricing etc in order

• Responsible for detailed and accurate measuring quantity and taking off

• Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to contract requirement

• Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors

• Study, identify and highlight discrepancies in tender/contract documents

• To perform price comparison and quotation evaluation

• Attend site and Consultant/ Technical meetings

• Any other adhoc assignments as assign by the immediate Superior

Job Requirements

· Graduates from accredited universities with bachelor degree in quantity surveying or construction management.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

· Ability to manage tight deadlines and high-pressure situations effectively.

· Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
