Job Description

i) To work with the PM to comply with environmental, health & safety (EHS) laws laws, advise PM on environmental remediation measures, carry out site inspections and to engage workers and stakeholders on maintaining good environmental health standards

ii) Work with the PM to draw up, implement and monitor effective environmental management plans, including reviewing them when necessary:

· Prepare & submit to the PM the Site Environmental Control Programme before work commences at the worksite.

Successful candidates will join the Business, Communication and Design (BCD) Cluster (one of five academic clusters in SIT) as members of a team of accomplished experts who are passionate about higher education and deeply involved in industry transformation through applied research programmes.

Faculty in the BCD Cluster undertake funded industry-relevant research, teach courses in Accounting, Air Transport Management, Digital Communications & Integrated Media, and Hospitality Business, as well as supervise industry masters and doctorate students in relevant topics. They are also provided paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or spend time attached with industry.

We will prioritise collegial and team-spirited candidates with either (a) an earned Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputable university with specialisation in any of the above-mentioned areas and some relevant work experience, or (b) extensive industry experience with demonstrated strong technical expertise in the above-mentioned areas.

Job Description

a) Report to the Manager/Team leader as shown in the organization chart. Responsible for the coordination and control of technical matters, quality implementation and site supervision works.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

• Coordinate with all the parties including sub-contractors and consultants to solve and coordinate technical issues, production of drawings and ensure proper transmission of data to all parties involved. Ensure that the detailed schedules of drawing production and site progress are met.
• For quality management, the coordinator is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Supervise site works according to the quality and EHS requirements.
• Handle all inspections and handing over process with the final objective of achieving customer satisfaction and high Conquas/QM score.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architecture / Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in BIM Drafting (Architectural or M&E)

• Competent in reading and understanding drawings and perform measurements.
• Competent in preparing Bills of Quantities.
• Competent in understanding tender/contract/document/specifications/terms of contract
• Competent in analysing quotations/prices/rates, build-up rates and perform pricing
• Competent in performing contract administration including but not limiting to valuation of payments and variations claims in accordance to contract requirements
• Competent in performing all tender activities necessary for the procurement of new projects
• Competent in performing any other activities in connection with the businesses of the holding company
• Competent in working independently as well as with a team
• Participate in any activity ancillary to the company's other objectives e.g. charity events
• Competent in completing required obligations within stipulated timings and other constraints

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
