Die cut machine operator's job is to set up, operate, and maintain a die cutting machine for a production run. Their duties include:

Preparing jobs: Reviewing job tickets, interpreting job layout information, and prioritizing jobs
Setting up and adjusting equipment: Making adjustments to the machine's speed, temperature, pressure, and position tolerances

Feeding materials: Loading and positioning unprinted materials into the machine
Operating the machine: Operating the press and performing manual or automatic cuts
Monitoring and maintaining: Checking for malfunctions, making adjustments, and performing preventative maintenance

Quality assurance: Inspecting printed products for accuracy and defects, and maintaining quality standards
Record keeping: Maintaining accurate records of production, waste, and production time
Safety and cleanliness: Ensuring strict adherence to company safety standards and keeping the workspace clean and orderly

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Counsellor to join our team, as we start to build a new team to support the mental health of our children & youth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality therapeutic support, counselling and guidance to individuals and groups. As a Senior Counsellor, you will play a critical role in leading counselling initiatives, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the development of our mental health services to support the needs of Life Community’s clients. This is a 2-year contract position and is subject to extension.

Key Roles & Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of new mental health programmes and initiatives for the agency, ensuring they meet client needs and organizational goals. This includes developing a mental wellness curriculum to promote the importance of mental health in our children and youth.
• Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients in need, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues.
• Supervise and support junior staff, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback. Lead case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and best practices.
• Work with programme staff on complex cases and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Planning and conducting training for staff on pertinent mental health issues and skills for first-line intervention and support.
• Developing and conducting psycho-education sessions on mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Maintain confidential and accurate counselling records. Provide management reports to Senior Management and the Board, as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community partners and other external stakeholders to coordinate care and expand service reach.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote mental health awareness and services.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Counselling or Psychology.
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in counselling work involving children and youths. Experience or practice in intervention of special education needs will be an advantage.
• Must have a flair, understanding and patience to work with children & youth.

Job Purpose:

To assist with Accounts Payables and General Accounting duties.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Accounts Payables and Receivables Maintenance:

▪Responsible for maintaining accounts payables and receivables.

2.Expense Allocation:

▪Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice and expense reports and reviewing posting entries.

3.Commercial Card Expenses and Cash Advances:

▪Manage timely payment of monthly commercial card expenses and issuance/settlement of cash advances for staff.

4.Timely Payment Management:

▪Ensure timely payment to vendors, grantees, and staff.

5.General Accounting Duties:

▪Assist with general accounting tasks, including posting purchase quotes, purchase orders, purchase invoices, debit/credit notes, and receipt/payment journals.

6.Record Accuracy and Consistency:

▪Check and ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial records.

7.Finance Document Management:

▪File and organize finance documents according to standard conventions.

8.Bank Reconciliation and Audit Schedules:

▪Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other audit schedules. Monitor monthly creditors’ aging.

9.Month-End Closing:

▪Responsible for month-end closing for subsidiary or regional office accounts.

10.Other Ad-Hoc Duties:

▪Perform additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

•Diploma, Degree, or tertiary qualification in Accounting.

•Working experience in charitable organizations and familiarity with MS Business Central 365 will be an added advantage.

•Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
