RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living like feeding, showering, toileting, elimination and transfer of clients.
• Active participation and assist to carry out individual care plans of clients assigned as in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Conduct individual and small group activities as planned by clinicians or supervisor.
• Assist in meeting diet requirements of clients and meals setup for clients and assist in safe preparation of food (example cutting, blending, reheating).
• Assist clinicians in care of clients like vital signs monitoring and reminder of medications when requires.
• Escorting clients between centre and other destinations with or without transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of the premises including equipment, furniture and tools when requires.
• Proper documentation and safekeeping of centre records.
• Assist with basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and clearing of body discharges and waste disposal.
• Adherence to audits, centre policies and trainings.
• Provides cross coverage to colleagues or deployment to other centre/s when need arises.

• Min. WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or relevant certification in Healthcare
• Min. 1 year experience in healthcare will be advantageous.
• Experience in working with elderly settings will be advantageous
• Willing to work staggered shifts according to centre operating hours

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

This position involves ministering to Chinese speaking migrant members within the church and the nearby community, while supporting the senior pastor in fostering a gospel-centered culture and active engagement within the Logos Christian Church community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist and guide the Chinese speaking migrants to adapt and integrate into local life and church life, serving as a bridge between the Chinese speaking migrant community and the local community.
2. Plan and organize gatherings and activities related to the Chinese speaking migrant Ministry of church, including fellowships, small groups, festivals, outdoor activities, seeker-friendly and pre-evangelistic events, and more.
3. Assist the Senior Pastor and ministry leaders in recruiting and shepherding volunteers for the Chinese speaking migrant Ministry.
4. Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and ministry leaders to organize the leadership team of the Chinese speaking migrant Ministry.
5. Develop and drive evangelistic efforts for outreach to the Chinese speaking migrant Ministry.
6. Encourage the Chinese speaking migrant community to participate in church-wide activities and, when necessary, assist in planning and promoting these activities.

Requirements

• A degree from a Bible or theological college (e.g., M.Div. or relevant Master’s degree in Theology).
• Demonstrates Christ-like behavior and exhibits strong Christian character.
• Passionate about serving Chinese speaking migrants, community outreach, and missions (both local and overseas).
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin, with the ability to preach in Mandarin; proficiency in additional dialects is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
