The Senior Workshop Instructor plays a crucial role in a multidisciplinary vocational rehabilitation team to empower people with disabilities to participate in work activities to gain a sense of identity, improve self-esteem, and a way to give back to society. You will work closely with the occupational therapist, social worker, caregivers and community partners as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will develop the procedures and processes for the delivery of programmes, intervention methods and teaching practices. Client Management

• Facilitate a training program to equip clients with prevocational and vocational skills

Responsibilities:

• Pick up quantity of materials for delivery which are extracted from the technical drawing and liaise with the relevant department on delivery and schedule
• Coordinate and work closely with Main Contractor and suppliers to meet project deadlines and meetings.
• Coordinate with supplier on delivery items and schedule.
• Able to handle and solve issues at site throughout the whole project.
• Responsible for monitoring of daily work process and project progress.
• Provide timely updates to the superior and the team
• Organize, manage and maintain proper documentations
• Usage of Microsoft applications including words, excel and outlook

Requirements

• Engineering or Civil / Structural Engineering Degree or Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years relevant experience.
• Preferred QS or site engineer experience
• Positive and keen to learn attitude.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task
• Bilingual English/ Chinese with good communication skills
• With relevant WSQ certification will have added advantage
• Working hours: 8 am to 5pm (Mon to Fri) 8am to 12.30pm (Sat)

Role Purpose

In this role, the Regional Sustainable Operations Manager will support a client for sustainability program implementation across the relevant APAC countries. The role will report to the Regional Sustainable Operations Director and will oversee the development and execution of energy and sustainability management programs to deliver success with key performance indicators including energy savings, carbon footprint reduction, utilities cost management, and water and waste management.

What this job involves

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute energy management or sustainability strategy, including local site-level plans.
• Implement energy and sustainability programs to reach objectives.
• Support reporting objectives and provide management information relating to the use of utilities and the impact on the internal and external environment.
• Manage the energy, waste, and water data collection process within the client’s technology platform and produce periodic (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual) reports that are tailored to meet our client’s specific requirements.
• Drive operational improvements though the identification and implementation of opportunities to improve energy and sustainability performance across regional portfolio and building-level perspective.
• Collaborate with other JLL Sustainable Operations team members to share best practices, identify opportunities, and develop case studies.
• Engage with JLL facility managers to become the key point of contact for the provision of wide-ranging advice in relation to all aspects of environmental sustainability.
• Drive implementation of site-level sustainability plans to facility managers, and provide training to support their site-level activities.
• Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance and use of utility/sustainability management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposes.

Requirements – Essential

• University Degree (Science, engineering, math or related fields)
• Technical understanding of the most common HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems
• In-depth understanding of energy and water conservation measures
• Experienced with benchmarking and analysing utility data to drive sustainability measures
• In-depth understanding of Greenhouse Gas Emission scopes and reporting
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus

Requirements – Desirable

• Experience conducting site walkthroughs in order to find conservation measures (e.g., ASHRAE Level 1 and 2)
• Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Experience in the preparation of tenders and work orders and the ability to select appropriate equipment and service vendors
• Knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management and energy budgets, an environmental improvement program, and ISO 14001 compliance.
• Familiarity with energy procurement process and renewable energy options

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and issue stocks
• Arrange items to ensure that first in, first out method is applied
• Perform daily stock count on accountable items and submit data input to EDP section
• Ensure that store is thoroughly cleaned up and that empty cartons are thrown away
• Recommend stocks that needs to be replenished. Specifically with regard to store equipment, the responsibilities and duties relating to store equipment are:
• Ensure that stacker is maintained and placed at proper location at the end of each working day
• Check battery water level for stacker and forklift once a week
• Check engine oil level for forklift on a fortnightly basis
• Check temperature of cool room daily
• Ensure that pulley jack and trolley are always in good working condition
• Assist Technical Storekeeper on his duties when the person is away.

REQUIREMENTS

• GCE ‘O’ level/ ITE qualification with some experience preferred.
• Willing to learn and understand the needs to support relevant Team.
• Systematic and cleanliness in nature a must.

As a Manager / Senior Manager in the Regulation Division, you will be instrumental in upholding the standards of Singapore's education and training ecosystem. Your role will ensure that Training Providers (TPs) and Private Education Institutions (PEIs) adhere to the regulatory requirements set forth by SkillsFuture Singapore Agency (SSG).

This position is critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of educational services, reflecting our commitment to fostering a knowledgeable and skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory and Compliance

· Ensure that TPs seeking funding from SSG meet the necessary registration and quality standards.

· Regulate Private Education Institutions in line with the Private Education Act 2009 and its regulations.

Inspection and Enforcement

· Lead inspections on TPs and PEIs to confirm adherence to the Private Education Act, Regulations, and SSG requirements.

· Investigate reports of non-compliance and take appropriate enforcement actions against TPs/PEIs.

Policy and Framework Review

· Conduct thorough reviews of existing legislation, regulatory frameworks, and operational policies to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Innovation and Process Enhancement

· Utilize data analytics to innovate and improve tools and processes, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance monitoring.

Requirements

· Tertiary qualification with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in regulation, enforcement, investigations, or operations.
