• Technical Knowledge: Understanding past and current building and construction technologies, building regulations, process and materials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

Job Requirements

The Manager, Contracts (Site) assists the Senior Manager, Contracts in overseeing the operations of the Site Contracts and Commercial team. He/She is also responsible for providing advice on all contractual, procurement and claim issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements which is aligned with Obayashi’s value proposition and/or commercial strategy in tenders and contracts proposals.

The Manager, Contracts (Site) is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Close communication with PD/PM to reflect PD/PM’s intention for the project.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

• The Senior Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
• Assist Construction Manager of overall planning functions, including project schedulesand progress tracking.
• Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identifying potential delays or issues andimplementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Maintain and update all project schedules regularly, collecting actual data such asprogress status and manpower allocation.

• Minimum 8 years’ engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
• At least 3 years’ experience in planning, coordinating and managing construction works / teams on projects of similar scale, nature and complexity.
• Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.
