Job Summary

• Perform checks and management of communications with regional office, to align with Business planning and Forecasting cycle.
• Support and perform transactional activities for the business support team to directly contribute to improved revenue targets set in Business Plan

Key Accountabilities

Inventory & Supply Planning

a) Monitor demand and plan supply accurately

• Plan, schedule and conduct inventory/forecast meeting with Project Manager
• Analyse and prepare draft forecast submission
• Complete and submit accurate forecast data
• Maintain and process forecast / procurement system requirements
• Set limits for and approve forecasts
• Ensure slow moving target are achieved via constant monitoring / actions

b) Plan ahead to ensure and maintain optimal inventory levels

• Establish processes to track inventory level across products, in the immediate and long term
• Monitor and track DOS, forecast accuracy

c) Synchronise supply chain activities to support Singapore and region office

• Integrate processes across stakeholders to ensure information visibility in customer demand, supply / anticipated productions, material in transit
• Process procurement data weekly
• Maximize drop ship as per business rules
• Process purchase orders as determined
• Receive, prepare and maintain product price in SAP
• Manage missing price items with Product Manager, price revision with Japan HQ, File Price approval / release
• Perform SAP operation transaction
• Download weekly shipping OB schedule, send delivery schedule

Stock Allocation management

• Allocation for Forecast, additional request and excess stock to sales companies
• Weekly allocation of stocks to Sales companies for shipment
• Prompt respond to Sales company’s enquiry / additional stock request

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of supply chain functional areas including but not limited to supply planning and demand forecasting, inventory management
• Working knowledge of computerized ERP environment, preferably SAP systems, TM1 system
• Good with Power BI, Microsoft excel, and MS office tools
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
• At least 3 years’ experience preferably in Supply Chain Management in Hi Tech industry

About The Job

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Innovation Programmes, the position works with the various Programme Managers (PMs) in meeting the centre’s objectives to advance the development, proliferation, and adoption of proven innovative learning solutions. The appointee will be part of the team to conduct evaluation of grant proposals to ascertain their innovation value and eligibility for funding support. The Accounting Management Specialist reports to the BPO Management Tower Support (Supervisor). This role involves ensuring the accuracy of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for multiple legal entities, and supporting the roll-out of Oracle Cloud and changes to the Chart of Accounts within the Financial Ecosystem System (FCE).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support Readiness: Assist the Tower Supervisor with FCE readiness activities such as user acceptance testing, beta testing, and validation of work. Collaborate closely with the overseas team.
• Month-End Review: Perform month-end account reviews, including control account checks and correcting journal entries.
• Monitor Progress: Track the progress of monthly closing activities and review the BPO Journal Entry Dashboard for assigned entities.
• Overdue Items: Review the Overdue Items Report, follow up with BPO, and escalate overdue items as necessary.
