Accountabilities
Teaching

• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality English language teaching that meets the needs of different customer groups taking into account individual learning needs and modes of learning.

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout their learning, and actively promote learner autonomy and progress.

Academic Support

• Lead teachers will use their academic expertise to support the teaching team:Provide academic support and supervision to lesser experienced teachers by conducting observations, providing feedback and mentoring.
  Lead on specific academic areas such as planning groups, projects, teacher development and training.
  

Teaching Centre Activities

• Support teaching centre’s activities and British Council plans.
• Attend staff meetings and otherwise contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials and related services, in order to meet students’ needs by actively working as a member of the teaching team.
• Support local marketing and promotional strategy and assist the teaching centre team in delivering excellent customer service through dissemination of information and communications with students.

Customers and Stakeholders

Qualifications
Essentials

Shall provide Data Centre (DC) operations at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the

Customer. The DC Operations shall cover the following:

1. DC Environment Support; and

2. DC Facilities Management Services.

DC Environment Support

Shall monitor the facilities infrastructure in the DC to ensure that they are within the operating levels

defined by the Customers. The infrastructure to be monitored shall minimally include:

(a) Power infrastructure (such as Uninterrupted Power Supply and power distribution boards);

(b) Cooling Infrastructure (such as computer room air-conditioning units);

(c) Fire detection and suppression systems (such as FM200, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers);

(d) Environment monitoring system (such as humidity and temperature); and

(e) Water leakage detection.

(f) Shall ensure the DC infrastructure is monitored on twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days

a week, inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

(g) The Vendor shall inform the Customer within one (1) hour when problems are detected.

(h) Shall work with the Customer and Customer-appointed Supplier to resolve any infrastructure

issues detected in accordance to the support hours as required by the Customer.

DC Facilities Management Services

(a) Shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data centre

are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier.

(b) Shall work with Customer-appointed Supplier on site preparation tasks such as network cabling

and electrical wiring, when required.

(c) Shall ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.

(d) Shall work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance,

servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and

premises identified by the Customer.

(e) Shall plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties,

obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.

(f) Shall obtain the Customer’s approval before finalizing the plan for any activity.

(g) Shall provide on-site support during the maintenance activities unless otherwise agreed by the

Customer.

(h) Shall maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.

(i) Shall manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided

by the Customer.

(j) Shall monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the

operating levels defined by the Customer:

 Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and

 Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).

(k) Shall ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the DCs.

 The Vendor shall ensure that all visitors to DCs are escorted during their activities on-site.

 The Vendor shall ensure that the visitors record their activities in the on-site log.

Requirement – DC Operations

Minimum Requirement:

The Vendor shall ensure, through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the

data centre are maintained by the Customer-appointed Supplier. The DC Operator shall possess

minimally the following skill sets:

(a) Three (3) years of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience;

(b) Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and

(c) ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent

Job Overview

The Storage Engineer will be responsible for managing, administering, and troubleshooting storage systems and enterprise backup solutions in a 24x7 operational environment. The role involves working extensively with storage technologies like HP Nimble, Dell Storage, NetApp, and Hitachi to ensure high availability, performance, and data protection for critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Storage Management

• Install, Configure, and Maintain: Implement Storage Area Networks (SAN) and enterprise backup solutions.
• Health Checks & Troubleshooting: Perform regular health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting for HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi devices to ensure optimal availability and performance.
• Integration & Interoperability: Integrate storage solutions (HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi) into customer IT infrastructures for seamless functionality.
• System Upgrades: Perform firmware updates and necessary system upgrades, particularly for Hitachi SAN environments.

3. Disaster Recovery (DR)

• DR Planning & Execution: Develop and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies to ensure quick and reliable recovery of critical systems.
• DR Testing: Verify successful recovery of production or DR servers during DR exercises.

4. Storage Solution Implementation

• Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to integrate HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi Storage solutions into their infrastructure.
• Testing & Validation: Prepare test plans and conduct functional checks to validate that storage systems meet customer requirements.

5. Additional Duties

• Advanced Support: Provide second- and third-level support for advanced storage issues, particularly with HP Nimble, Dell, NetApp, and Hitachi solutions.
• Data Center Operations: Assist with data center shutdown activities and recovery operations as needed.

Education

SCOPE

Reporting to the General Managert, the Executive Chef will manage all kitchen operations including Stewarding operations with an emphasis on maintaining hygienic standards and practices, staff training, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of a consistent food product which meets customer’s expectations.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Manage all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental profit.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum 10 years culinary experience, with 5 years in a kitchen management role, preferably with an international 5-star hotel chain.
• Experienced in various dining concepts in luxury hotels including all day dining, signature restaurants and celebrity chef restaurants.

Compute, Storage, and Database Solutions:

• Leverage AWS services like EC2, ECS Fargate, and Lambda for compute workloads, based on application needs.
• Design scalable storage solutions using S3, EBS, and EFS.
• Architect and optimize database solutions with RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.

Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) to ensure observability and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Set up proactive alerts and monitoring for performance and security issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Our company is looking for suitable candidates to join their growing business as Senior Forex Trader Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Market making for the Asian markets FX trading franchise.

· Monitor and analyse market conditions, news, and economic data to make informed trading decisions.

· Manage risk and ensure compliance with trading regulations and company policies.

· Collaborate with the research team to stay updated on market trends and opportunities.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and counter-parties.

· Contribute to eFX initiatives.

REQUIREMENT:

· MAS Representative would be highly advantageous

· Master's/Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar), with CFA preferred

· Preferable at least 15 years of relevant working experience in the Forex exchange (Asian market) or public equity investment background

· Proven experience as an FX Trader with a successful track record in the Asian markets.

· In-depth knowledge of Asian financial markets, including currency movements, economic indicators, and geopolitical events.

· Strong analytic and quantitative skills.

· Excellent risk management and decision-making abilities.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Working hours : 9.00am to 6.00pm (5 Days)

• Salary: up to S$18,000 higher/ Negotiable (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
