• Explore heterogeneous systems with silicon chips being integrated on unconventional substrates such as flexible and stretchable, for ultra-low power always-on and intelligent silicon platforms.

Requirement:

1. Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 3 years of experience in the design of similar scale and complexity.

4. One postdoc position is available at the Surface and Interface Lab in Prof. CHEN WEI’s group, National University of Singapore. The successful candidate will work with Prof CHEN Wei on NAP-XPS investigation for interface engineered 2D materials under a project on NRF Investigatorship project "Interface Engineered Ferroelectric 2D Materials for Artificial Synapses and Neuromorphic Computing”.

The project focuses on the interface engineering for 2D materials for various applications, including neuromorphic computing and electrocatalysis, with particular emphasis on NAP-XPS technique. The selected candidate will work together with a team comprising experts in interfacial analysis about 2D materials and reaction mechanism study using home-made interface characterization tools.

Qualifications / Discipline:

• PhD in Chemistry or Materials in a research intensive and renowned University or Research Institute. The candidate shall publish at a few papers on top journals.
• Skills:

Job Description

The Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) at the National University of Singapore is a multidisciplinary institute dedicated to developing new paradigms in biomedical research. We focus on the quantitative analysis of dynamic functional processes in pathogenesis (ranging from bacterial to cancer), tissue regeneration, and function.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join Prof. Lim Chwee Teck's lab at MBI. The Lim lab conducts research on biomedical problems relating to human diseases, in particular, diseases associated with cancer, malaria, sepsis and aging, and develops innovative mechanobiologically inspired platforms in microfluidics and wearable microdevices to detect, diagnose and treat such diseases.

Qualifications

Candidates with a PhD in engineering, biology, biomedical sciences, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
