The Memorial Service Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating funeral and memorial services, ensuring that all aspects of the services meet the needs of the bereaved families and are executed with professionalism, care, and respect. The coordinator works closely with families, funeral directors, and service providers to arrange a personalized and seamless experience during a difficult time.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Coordinate and schedule all memorial services, viewings, and ceremonies, ensuring that all logistics are arranged according to the family's wishes.
2. Liaise with funeral directors, clergy, celebrants, musicians, and other service providers to ensure smooth service execution.
3. Assist families in selecting and organizing service elements, including caskets, urns, floral arrangements, programs, and multimedia displays.
4. Serve as the main point of contact for bereaved families, offering compassionate guidance and support throughout the planning process.
5. Provide information and options for memorial services, burial, or cremation, ensuring families understand the available choices.
6. Manage the setup and breakdown of memorial service spaces, including arranging seating, sound systems, and displays.
