Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.

Undertake these responsibilities in the project:

1. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulations:
• Develop and implement CFD models to simulate the effects of mangroves, seagrass, and coral on wave attenuation.

• Owns the customer experience, journey and renewal results for your assigned enterprise and key accounts, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders such as the sales account management, executive sponsors and cross functional counterparts.

• Proactive review of customer health indicators, customer contact and on-site visits to perform high level Executive Business Reviews with key stakeholders, user group meetings, Road Maps, etc., to improve relationship and plan strategically with customers to help them meet their objectives through the use of our products and services.

Additional Job Description

Responsibilities:

Test Strategy and Planning

- Define and lead comprehensive QA strategies, covering all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Automation and Tooling

- Lead the development of automated testing frameworks using Cypress, Playwright or any automation tool for end-to-end test coverage.

Requirements:

- Expertise in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).

- Proficient in JavaScript (TypeScript) or Java

- Familiar with frontend and backend technologies (e.g., ReactJS, ExpressJS, Gin-gonic), as well as cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD) and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, JWT for authentication, and search technologies like Elasticsearch.

The Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials (I-FIM) is looking for postdoctoral research fellows to work on topics in machine learning and its scientific applications. The successful candidate will work with Principal Investigators in I-FIM on these topics.

The main responsibilities of the position include conducting cutting-edge research in machine learning theory and algorithm research, with applications to materials and quantum sciences. Topics include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Data-driven multiscale modelling
• Approximation and optimisation theory of new architectures with applications in dynamics
• Learning and controlling deterministic and stochastic dynamics

Job Requirements

• PhD in (Applied) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or related fields
• Strong knowledge in machine learning and deep learning
• Familiarity with basic theory of dynamical systems, ODEs, PDEs, and stochastic processes
