Job Summary

The Accounts Executive will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires a professional with strong attention to detail who can handle multiple accounting functions, from processing invoices to reconciling bank accounts. The successful candidate will support the finance team in achieving the company’s financial objectives through efficient handling of accounts payable, sales invoicing, and asset management.

Role Accountabilities:

1. Vendor Invoice and Payment Processing

• Manage and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Coordinate with internal departments to verify invoices and ensure proper authorization.
• Handle payment processing, track outstanding payables, and resolve any payment discrepancies

2. Prepare Payment and Receipt Journals and Perform Bank Reconciliations

• Record payments and receipts journals accurately.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation report

3. Sales Invoicing

• Generate sales invoices to clients promptly
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure accuracy in billings

4. Credit and Debit Note Management

• Create credit and debit notes
• Ensure all credit/debit notes are authorized, documented, and aligned with company policy.
• Process intercompany recharge debit/credit notes

5. Fixed Asset Register Maintenance

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Conduct periodic asset audits and reconcile asset data with the financial system.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset reports

6. General Ledger

• Post entries to the General Ledger (GL) and ensure alignment with financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Assist in month-end closing activities

7. Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including filing, document management, and assisting with financial audits.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

8. Bank Document and Letter of Credit (Ad-hoc Support)

• Maintain bank documents and manage LC applications.
• Handle LC presentation and discounting processes.
• Ensure accurate records and compliance with banking requirements.

9. Ad-Hoc Tasks

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support financial operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and contribute proactively to team efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Education: Degree in Accountancy or related field.

2. Experience: at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (specify if known, e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

What will I be doing?

As the Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

To team with up the supply chain financing solutions team with Business Analyst to work on projects and application support of Connexis Supply Chain (Front Office & Back Office Application) global releases.

To work with Product Managers and Operation users from all the regions (APAC/EMEA/AMERICAS) on the requirements gathering, impact analysis and functional specifications for the enhancements and issues reported in production. Direct Responsibilities

• To ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the development of deep learning and operations research models and related intelligent systems for the supply chain and logistics of the global E-Commerce business.

- Utilize e-commerce big data and deep learning models to predict end-to-end estimated time of arrival (ETA), and some logistics events such as failed delivery, delivered but not received to enhance the user logistics experience. Build logistics network knowledge graphs and predict the spatio-temporal trajectory sequence of express packages through deep learning, statistical inference and other algorithmic methods. Use NLP and LLM algorithms to handle address problems such as address verification and address suggestion.

- Utilize time series forecasting techniques to predict sales at different granularities and horizons, such as warehouse-level manpower forecasting, inventory-level demand forecasting etc. We need strong machine learning and deep learning skills to detect important factors and model the relationship between the future and history.

- Participate in the growth of e-commerce merchants/creators, responsible for the growth algorithm of e-commerce merchants/creators, including potential merchants/creators mining algorithm, tiering algorithm, out-reach algorithm, growth algorithm, etc. Work closely with e-commerce merchants/creators related operations and product teams to achieve the high-quality growth goal of e-commerce merchants/creators.

- Combined with massive e-commerce information, through data mining and machine learning, predict the performance of products in traffic/conversion, improve the efficiency of product operation strategy and pricing/subsidy strategy, and assist in optimizing traffic distribution, to satisfy the requirements of product growth, cost optimization and some other scenarios.
