2.1.1 Provide psycho-social support for patients and their families through case management, counselling, financial assessment and recommend resources where necessary.

2.1.2 Participate in the development of the care plan and assist staff members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to clients’ health problems.

2.1.3 Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members/caregivers to determine appropriate care plan.

2.2 Secondary Responsibilities and duties (10%)

2.2.1 Any other ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.

3.1.1. Diploma/Degree in Social Work.

3.1.2. Registered with Singapore Association of Social Workers.

3.1.3. Minimum 2 years working experience in healthcare/ILTC sector preferred.

Job description:
• Conducts troubleshooting and repair of injection machines, equipment, accessories, and other facilities used in production department.
• Supervises activities in maintenance operation for production department.
• Plan works schedules for the maintenance technician and organized them accordingly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to the machine, robots and equipment.
• Ensure the availability of materials and spare parts
• Maintains records of daily, monthly and yearly maintenance programs.
• Performs other project related to improve production operation.

Overall responsible for the efficient management and smooth running of the accounts payable function including fixed assets accounting and the payment of all company invoices in a timely manner.

Accounts Payable function

• Handle full spectrum of accounts payable.
• Supervise and guide the accounts payable team to ensure compliance to accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure purchases documents received are completed, properly approved and accounted in the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of WHT.
• Ensure complete compilation of agent commission and royalties records.
• Ensure month end and year end closing activities are completed within deadlines.
• Close liaison with GL team and follow up on bank reconciliation items.
• Approve creation of new vendors n Navision.
• Supervise and guide PO users and PO approvers on the Navision system.

Cash Flow Management

• Prepare monthly cash flow projections.
• Assist to manage cash flow efficiently.
• Close monitoring of funds to ensure sufficient funds are available for payment.
• Liaise with operations on expected cash collections and manage payment outstanding.

Management Reporting

• Ensure timely month and year end closing of AP subledger.
• Ensure expenses accounted are complete and accurate.
• Prepare relevant AP reports for month end closing and year end closing.
• Prepare relevant expenses variance analysis for management reports.
• Prepare and review monthly audit schedules.
• Prepare relevant data for board deck.

Forecasting/Budgeting

• Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets of direct cost and expenses, where applicable

Outsource vendor management

• Oversees the outsource vendor performance.
• Guide and ensure outsource vendor meet the daily/required deliverables.
• Provide feedback to the outsource vendor.
• Ensure Desk Top Process are updated regularly or when required.

Ensure compliance to Edutrust and Audit requirements in relation to:

• Payment Control processing.
• Regular review and updating of documents for Edutrust (CPE) requirements.
• Assist in audit process and liaise with external auditor for submission of audit request report.

Resolve operational issues and act as a business partner to various business units

• Correspondence and follow up on queries from both internal and external parties.

Fixed assets related matters

• Ensure fixed assets are accounted accurately and tagged appropriately when required.

Staff Management

• Motivate and lead the AP team including outsource team to improve and streamline processes.
• Conduct performance appraisals of the team and give guidance where necessary to develop and train the team.

Others

• Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting (ACCA preferred) with 5-7 years of experience.
• Possess integrity and ability to exercise discretion in confidential matters.
• Meticulous, Proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills to liaise with internal departments/trainers/vendors.
• Familiar with Navision or similar accounting system.
• Competency in MS Office particularly in Excel skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.

General Job Requirements:

Based in Singapore and reporting to the JP STS Lead of APAC Global Financial Solutions (GFS), this position will be responsible for the delivery of Source to Settle (STS) & Order to Cash (OTC) services mainly focusing on Japan market.

The customers for the STS process will be represented by Finance Business Partners of Japan market in Gilead and will also include the Finance and business users of the process along with Gilead suppliers.

The customers for the OTC process will be represented by the finance of Japan market, commercial finance and commercial operations.

STS processes include but not limited to handling of supplier’s onboarding requests, PO administration, supplier invoice processing, employees’ expense claims, Corporate Card handling, payment processing, month-end processes for APAC markets

OTC processes include but not limited to Customer and Credit Maintenance, Cash Application, Debt Collection, Credit review, Order Management, month-end processes for APAC markets

Position Specific Job Requirements:

• Able to handle STS & OTC processes in a professional manner; ability to follow up and resolve outstanding items and exceptions in a timely basis
• Contribution to the definition of service standards and continuous management of service level agreements with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Contribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture
• Ensure financial records are in compliance with GAAP. Consistently maintains appropriate internal controls and upholds company policies & procedures including Worldwide Controller’s manual
• Responsible for the timely preparation of the month end closing procedures for Japan in high quality
• Interacts successfully with internal and external auditors by providing timely & accurate data and communication
• Evaluates processes and recommends & implements process improvements
• Interacts successfully with non-financial personnel; ensure proper training and development objectives are met

Knowledge, experience, competencies:

• 3+ years working experience (experience financial shared services is preferable)
• Fluency in both written and spoken Japanese & English is a MUST
• Accounting / Finance / Business degree is preferable
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification is preferred
• Must have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience in interacting with external and internal auditors along with detailed knowledge and experience of SOX Compliance is preferred
• Working knowledge and experience of SAP or similar ERP product is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required.
• Self-driven with high levels of integrity, excellence and teamwork.
