The Centre has launched the “Digital Healthcare Transformation (DHT) Initiative,” a multi-year program to boost public-private partnerships in digital health, data, and AI. Singapore, a leader in healthcare delivery and equity due to its investment in digital health, will be highlighted as a World Economic Forum Centre for Health and a Healthcare Country Lighthouse. Job Description

The Fellowship role will manage projects and provide expertise on Health Equity, access to care, and social determinants of health. The Fellow will support the Forum’s work in developing Singapore as a Country Lighthouse, conduct research on its health system transformation, and share insights on health equity. He/She will also coordinate with regional working groups and engage with local and global partners, including the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Network and the Accelerators Network, and contribute to the Forum's Health Equity strategy and broader global efforts.

This is a new additional position in Munich Re (“MR”) LH2 Regional Structured Solutions team, and provides an exciting and challenging role with a focus on Structured Solutions deals. Being within the regional unit will also expose you to major insurance markets in the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa regions with opportunities to deep dive in selected markets.

Your Role

Strategic:

• Analyse the selected market in conjunction with the local offices to determine possible Structured Solutions opportunities, and segment clients with a focus on the best potentials
• Maintain knowledge of latest developments in the markets

Structuring:

• Contribute to establish the best structure for meeting client’s need, taking into account local and parent accounting requirements, local regulatory environment, and specific client capital, tax, volatility issues, as well as MR structural advantages

Pricing:

• Perform/review the necessary pricing tasks, including understanding the products covered, studying the underlying data, support experience investigations, setting pricing assumptions, and constructing pricing models
• Price/review proposed Structured Solutions deal to ensure that all risks are appropriately considered and MR’s pricing targets are being met
• Draft treaties in a clear and concise manner

• Work closely with the various internal stakeholders as required so that their needs are met and a successful internal approval can be received promptly

In-force Management:

• Assist in any regular or ad-hoc in-force management projects and tasks when required

Your Profile

• Fellow of a recognised actuarial body or equivalent (FSA, FIA, FFA or FIAA)
• More than 5 years of actuarial experience in a direct, reinsurance or consulting
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS & RBC developments is beneficial
