We are currently seeking a Deputy Director of Residential Life - Dover Campus. The Deputy Director of Residential Life (Campus) oversees operational and pastoral matters for the campus boarding community, reporting to the Director of Residential Life (College) and Head of Campus on each campus. They will maintain and enhance our strong and supportive residential culture of 190 students (Dover) from grades 8 to 12, leading a campus team of residential houseparents, non-residential assistant houseparents and boarding support staff. The Deputy Director of Residential Life will work with other pastoral, academic and support teams across the College to ensure high standards of care for our residential students. Role description:

· Support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children

· Conduct daily routine care and related duties

· Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children

· Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team once a month, adhoc basis and as required

· Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids

· Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development

· To render basic first aid as and when necessary

Day Technician

• Work Location: Jurong (Company transport provided near Jurong East MRT)
• Work hours: 8 am to 4.30 pm (Mon-Fri)
• Salary range : $2200 - $2500 + $200( Site Allowance )

Responsibilities:

The Day Technician is responsible for Heat Treatment Daily Operations, support shift team on Grade Change Maintenance activities and Day shift Operations.

• In charge of day-to-day operation for Heat treatment unit to ensure quality, safety and production capacity are met according to production plan.
• Lead and support GCM transition activities for HT facility, and main operation in ensuring cleaning activities are done efficiently up to company operation standard before handing over to maintenance.
• Ensure any operational issues are communicated and followed by the maintenance team by working closely with maintenance contractor and coordinator.
• Support the shift team in multiple aspects of operation consisting of off-spec PVA blending, chemical loading/unloading, chemical preparation and GCM cleaning.
• On all activities, report to shift supervisor and day supervisor to ensure daily operation are done safely and according to the requirement.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
• At least 3 years’ working experience as Process Technician in a chemical industry

Site Engineer

Responsibilities

Project Management

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues during the project lifecycle.
• To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items per contractual requirement.
• Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.
• To ensure construction meeting client & regulatory requirements.
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.
• To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.
• Carry out project objectives to align with company goals.
• Minimize material wastage on-site and maximize machinery/equipment usage.
• To control the allocated direct workforce effectively i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.
• Follow approved construction method that is cost effective, productive & without compromising on Quality.
• Achieve targeted progress of works to ensure the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

• Fully understand project drawings and scope of work.
• Understand the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the project objectives.
• Involving in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge.
• To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (Recognized by PEB).
• Versed in PUB(WRN) projects with more than 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is an advantage
