The Construction Performance Analytics & Innovation Research Unit (cPAIRu) at the Department of the Built Environment, National University of Singapore, concentrates on three primary research areas:
1) Project/Organization Performance Analytics and Innovations;
2) Project/Organization Management Strategies for Green Building & Infrastructure; and
3) Project/Organization Digitalization and Innovations.

As a leading international center for research and consultancy in the built environment industry, cPAIRu drives project and organizational innovations and fosters collaborations with both local and international academic and industry partners, while contributing to national development goals through partnerships among students and staff.

The cPAIRu is seeking a Research Assistant experienced in leading and executing research projects independently. The role demands a solid knowledge of project management and an in-depth understanding of digital transformation in the built environment industry. This includes knowledge of technological competencies, organizational readiness, regulatory and strategic developments, applications of smart technology, change management, and performance assessment. The Research Assistant's responsibilities will extend to administrative and management tasks associated with research projects, as well as pursuing a PhD degree under the guidance of the PI.

Ideal candidates should possess substantial research experience in relevant fields, robust data analysis skills, and, preferably, proficiency in programming for GenAI.

The successful applicant will perform academic development work as well as field practical work together with the other research staff/students under the guidance of the PI.

Job Requirements

• BEng/BSc in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Facilities Management, Infrastructure Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related fields
• Solid knowledge and familiarity with project management, technological competencies, organizational readiness, regulatory and strategic developments, applications of smart technology, change management, and performance assessment
• Strong communication, team management, and independent problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in oral and written English

The Recruitment Executive supports the permanent recruitment activities of a company in the Technology Team. He/She handles the end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to hiring. He/She supports the manager in implementing recruitment strategies. He/She works with external recruitment partners and institutions to source for suitable candidates. He/She screens and shortlist candidates, schedules and conducts interviews. He/She is familiar with local manpower regulations. He/She handles all administration pertaining to recruitment.

• Sourcing high calibre and relevant candidates and screening CVs
• Conducting telephone interviews and assessments

• Kubernetes/OpenShift Administrator, 24*7 on call
• Knowledge areas : Kubernetes, Jenkins, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Linux (RHEL)
• Administrate the full OpenShift platform life cycle to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable and highly available.
• Work with other engineers to support the infrastructure of OpenShift as well as assist to resolve infrastructure queries/issues of OpenShift tenant applications
• Automation of platform operations and management
• Configure and Manage Monitoring, alerts for the OpenShift environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration and tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
• Certified OpenShift Admin/Kubernetes Admin is preferred.

Job Description

• The Research Assistant will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Zhang Yamin, on the research project of design phototransistors for healthcare and sustainable applications.
• The Research Assistant will help develop implantable and bioresorbable phototransistors, self-powered electronic platforms, and investigate the medical and environmental applications.

Job Requirements

For Research Assistant Position:

• A master’s degree in a relevant area, e.g., Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering;
• Good publication record;
• Experienced microfabrication experience
