As a member of the team, you will work closely with a number of other teams at Meta, including our Global Operations, Product, Legal, Communications, and Public Policy teams. You will be responsible for helping our team craft and implement content standards that best serve the company and the people who use our services globally. It is critical that you are able to analyze and communicate the costs and benefits of refinements to content policies at Meta and their implementation, and be comfortable making difficult decisions under pressure.

This is a full time, in-office role based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Help craft and implement content policies that take into account regulatory compliance with the needs of a global community.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Operations, Legal, Communications and External Stakeholders to drive policy improvements.
• Articulate policy philosophy and changes to relevant parties, including both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify gaps in existing policies and develop scalable solutions.
• Join the policy on-call roster to help field policy questions on high priority escalations, with an expectation to think critically about complex problems and exercise excellent judgment under time pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in online safety policy and/or content policy
• Experience working in a global team
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience communicating cross-functionally, particularly in the area of consensus-building
• Experience in analytical-thinking and problem-solving

Job Description:
-Lead and manage a team of merchandisers &/or promoters to meet sales objectives.
-Provide coaching and guidance to the merchandiser team for optimal performance.
-Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure smooth trade executions and promotional success.
-Coordinate with stores on activities such as regular promo, roadshow, space buy & sampling.
-Support marketing campaigns through effective sales strategies.
-Provide timely feedback on sales operations, competitor activities, and market sentiments.
-Monitor and report on competitor promotions and pricing strategies.
-Analyze sales data to improve distribution coverage efficiency and identify growth opportunities.
-Oversee and ensure all sales and trade activities are effectively carried out in assigned outlets.

Within Global Market Operations, the Credit Sales & Trading Services team provides risk management by facilitating the intraday processing and exception management of trade breaks both internally and externally for CDS products. Various operational reconciliations are performed on trade date and post trade date to ensure successful trade flow and books and records balancing. The team also executes various projects aimed at balance sheet optimization and gaining operational efficiency.

The team works closely with team members across regional and global offices to facilitate the above functions. The team support a cross section of products ranging from highly complex structured transactions to more vanilla trades. Individuals are required to develop a strong product, industry, and technical knowledge to facilitate the transaction flow and to anticipate and avoid potential trade problems. This position requires a high degree of communication with traders and salespeople in a fast-paced setting and ongoing interaction with other Operations teams, Compliance, Credit, and Technology to resolve issues arising from trade execution, client queries, and new business. • Monitor and control operational risk throughout the trade processing life cycle on Structured and Flow Credit derivatives post trade execution.

• Manage real-time trade booking exceptions internally between the trading desk and sales force
• Collaborate with our technology and business partners to enhance systems and workflows
• Engage in various industry and regulatory initiatives in a constantly changing environment
• Ensure that processes are continually reviewed and improved, risk is managed, and results are achieved that meet expectations for timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness within the Department.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

About TUMCREATE

TUMCREATE is a multidisciplinary research platform of the Technical University Munich (TUM) at the Singapore Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE). We are joining forces with universities, public agencies, and industry for the advancement of future technologies.

A new multi-disciplinary project named “Centre for Energy & Emissions Modelling (CE2M) Phase 2” hosted by A*Star with TUMCREATE as one of their partners has been launched. The overall goal of this project is to provide policymakers with a toolbox to explore pathways to “net zero” in Singapore. For this purpose, an existing model integration framework shall be enhanced through a systems of system modelling & simulation approach. Different models will be coupled using interfaces that enable them to communicate with one another.

Objective of the position:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who will work on building interfaces between models and to expand existing models to facilitate model coupling. This is a 24-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities:

• Familiarise with and review existing models developed by the project partners.
• Identify weak points of the models, particularly with regards to interfacing them with other models.
• Define and implement interfaces between the models.
• Contribute to the development of a system-of-systems model that includes all models.
• Presentation of the results in at least one international scientific journal.

Job Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university.
• Knowledge of software development and versioning systems.
• Programming knowledge of Python.
• Experience in software modelling, preferably in the field of energy and power systems.
• Knowledge of energy and power systems is preferable.
• Knowledge of the tools URBS and TIMES is a plus.
• Ability to interact with other researchers and define a working structure.
