• Provide timely and accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
• Perform financial planning and analysis work, including providing detailed variance analysis for monthly/quarterly reports, board papers, and other external reporting requirements
• Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecast and annual budget for area of accountability. Review and challenge operational plans by reviewing underlying drivers and assumptions made when preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budget
• Support the business teams in the evaluation of the potential investment / divestment and business operation considerations during acquisition / divestment process. Liaise with other finance functions to ensure that accounting and tax impacts are appropriately considered
• Liaise with JV partners on matters arising, such as dividend distributions, shareholder loans, other financial and operational matters
• Support the Platform Finance Business Partner Lead in the annual review and amendment of the Financial Authorisation Limits
• Review existing procedures and systems and identify opportunities in process improvement, system enhancement, automation and digitalization
• Support the consolidation of forecasts and budgets
• Supervise and review the segment consolidation and support in the preparation of financial and management reporting of the Group, in accordance with group accounting policies

The Coordinator of Client Management Support is an integral part of the client management team, contributing to the success of client relationships and the overall growth of the organization. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects valued at $2M USD or more, with at least 3+ years of dedicated project management experience. A strong background in Java and related technologies is essential. Experience in implementing Life or P&C insurance projects will be a significant advantage.

Job Description

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee projects involving Java and related technologies, such as Angular, Microservices, and enterprise-level system integrations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets while aligning deliverables with business objectives.
• Prepare detailed project reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to Life and P&C insurance projects.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring efficient change management practices.
• Maintain and enhance project documentation, including lessons learned for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years in project management roles.
• Proven success in managing projects valued at $2M USD or more, with specific experience in the insurance domain.
• Experience managing projects involving Java, J2EE, Spring, Angular, Microservices, REST API, Oracle, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes/Docker, and related technologies.
• Prior experience in Life or P&C insurance project implementation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Strong expertise in preparing detailed reports and dashboards to effectively communicate project progress.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in ITIL/ITSM, business, customer support, or a related field.

• The candidate should be bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and vendors in both languages.
