A key and pivotal role in supporting sales in the daily running of production, keeping up with targets and KPI and maintaining a safe and conducive working culture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor workflows and collaborate with the Sales team to adjust schedules based on delays or changing demands.
• Update and check inventory physical stock and arrange production of finished goods to meet the sales order
• Co-ordinate with admin assistant for logistics, freight and shipping arrangements
• Lead and supervise production teams, including training, and evaluating performance.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment while addressing any staff-related concerns.
• Ensure production processes meet quality standards and regulations.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product standards.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Analyze production data, prepare reports, and develop KPIs to improve productivity and output.
• Responsible for facilitating the review of Manufacturing Batch Record and Packaging Batch Record.
• Manages SAP in terms of batch closure, inventory, purchase requisition, work orders and other related activities
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure the production area complies with safety rules.
• Conduct regular safety audits and quickly address any compliance issues.
• Work with various departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse to ensure smooth production operations.
• Communicate production updates and any issues to senior management and other important stakeholders.
• Maintain GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department.
• Liaise with suppliers
• Establish a framework to attain QMS certification such as ISO 14000 within 2 years.
• Effective participation and contribution in Quality Management System (QMS) such as GMP and other Quality standards, creation of standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions (WI) and records/forms, In-Process Control (IPC) analysis, deviation and CAPA management.
• Chemical process, paints and coatings manufacturing background would be useful.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
• At least 3 Years (s) of working experience in the managerial capacity is required for this position
