Regional managers role is responsible for sales for complete region. Responsible for managing China & South Korean and Singapore office. Responsible for ensuring own sales targets are met, in addition to ensuring China and Korea market sales targets are met.

Key responsibilities and main tasks
Ā· Responsible for reaching regional sales budget targets
Ā· Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
Ā· Responsible for three regional offices, Singapore, China & South Korea.
Ā· Ensure existing and potential customers expectations are met
Ā· Reporting project pipelines for short, medium, long term opportunities
Ā· Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
Ā· Report on regional sales results
Ā· Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
Ā· Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Ā· Assists resellers with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
Ā· Becomes actively involved in a new resellers sales orientation and sales training programs.
Ā· Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
Ā· Assists with the planning and execution of trade exhibitions and customer seminars
Ā· Travel throughout the responsible region for customer meetings
Ā· Responsible for development of Distributors in the region.
Secondary tasks
Ā· Sales presentations to end users, shipyards, ship managers, resellers (distributors)
Ā· Specification interpretation and analysis with view to sales proposals
Ā· Specifying and influencing end users
Ā· Sales to existing client base to meet their expectation
Ā· Maintaining company standards both ethical and profitability
Ā· Development and expand customer base
Ā· Motivate and lead area sales team
Ā· Preparation of project pipelines and integration within sales model

Personnel: China & South Korea country managers & associated employees
Scope of activities and decision-making
Position works independently according to agreed scope. Responsible for decision making according to internal approval matrix.
Customer orientation and collaboration
Internal: China & South Korean country managers report directly to this position. This position reports directly to Global sales manager. Additionally co-operation with service\after sales manager, project manager, order department, Production manager, logistics dept.
External: Customers (ship-owners, shipyards, ship management), Subcontractors, Partner companies (Distributors), 3rd party system houses
Sales: Meet Sales targets
Experience / skills: Excellent English speaking and written language skills
Pre-requisites
Educational background: Technical and sales education in Marine electrical engineering, and fire and security industry. Internal experienced personnel will be considered case-by- case
Work experience:
10+ years within fire detection industry
10+ years experience in Marine industry
10+ years experience in sales manager role
Experienced in managing own sales team
Technical background in fire detection industry
Certificates: Degree in Electrical engineering
Other requirements: Regular travel within responsible region
