About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manager, Business Development, to join our Care Experience team in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Care Experience.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of Doctor Anywhere’s innovative Shield technology and professional assessment solutions among insurance providers offering Integrated Shield Plans (IPs). You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closing, building strong relationships with key decision-makers within insurance companies, and positioning Doctor Anywhere as the partner of choice for enhancing their IP offerings. You will also be the account manager for newly acquired clients, liaising with the operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and manage ad-hoc client queries.
A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
● New Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential insurance clients who can benefit from Doctor Anywhere's Shield Solutions
● Sales: Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of Doctor Anywhere’s Shield Solutions
● Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive offerings, identify industry trends, and anticipate client needs
● Account Management: Managing acquired clients to ensure successful onboarding, payments / collections, and ongoing client satisfaction
● Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across product, technology, operations, and marketing to deliver exceptional client experiences
About you
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field
● 6-8 years of proven experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare or insurance industries, with a strong preference for candidates with knowledge of the Integrated Shield Plan landscape in Singapore
● Demonstrated success in selling technology solutions or services to insurance companies
● A strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, claims processes, and the evolving needs of insurers in the digital age
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences
● Strong negotiation, closing, and problem-solving abilities
● Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
