Job Summary:
Tanglin Trust School seeks to appoint a WAG Gymnastics Coach who will work alongside our coaching team to help grow and develop our recreational and competitive program.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years in gymnastics coaching.
· Minimum Level 1 or equivalent coaching qualification. Level 2 and experience coaching competitive gymnasts is desirable.
· Previous experience of working with children in a coaching or teaching role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching
· The WAG Gymnastics Coach will be responsible for coaching within the recreational and competitive gymnastics programme including but not limited to:
o Infant and Junior CCA’s
o Infant, Junior and Senior club
o Competitive Gymnastics
· Deliver fun, energetic and progressive classes suitable for all ages and abilities.
· Demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to coach across the programme as required, including higher level gymnasts.
· Work with the Head of Recreational Gymnastics and Director of Gymnastics to give timely feedback to parents, and gymnasts in relation to their gymnastics progress
· Follow all training plans and work closely with the Head of Recreational Gymnastics, Director of Gymnastics and other members of the gymnastics team.
· Create lesson plans, skill cards, termly goals in accordance with the programme set by the Head of Rec and Director of Gymnastics.
· Contribute to the planning and delivery of recreational and competitive camps as required by the programme.
· Ensure all classes are delivered in a safe and appropriate manner with the focus on talent development and the growth of the child.

· Operate according to the policies, procedures, and codes of practice relevant to the role.
2. Programme Development & Administration
· Work alongside and in support of the Head of Recreational Gymnastics and Gymnastics Director to grow and develop the programme, including Infant and Junior CCA’s, Infant and Junior Club and Senior Club programmes, and Competitive Programme.
· Contribute to the planning and organisation of the development pathway.
· Attend all coach education sessions to ensure personal development as a coach.
· Maintain effective communication with all parents, staff and coaches relevant to the programme through official lines of communication.
· Ensure registrations and attendance records are recorded daily and maintained.
