Your Role

• Execute General Ledger activities and monthly closing activities for APAC regional offices in accordance with the close calendar ensuring corporate accounting policies and effective internal controls are being adhered to.
• Collaborate closely with corporate accounting teams and work across different functions and stakeholders to see through the monthly accounting close, ensuring all critical accounting matters are appropriately identified and dealt with.

• Coordinate and manage the annual statutory audits, dealing with the Auditors and ensuring timely completion of the annual audit process.
• Prepare statutory accounts in FRS
• Support internal audits to ensure record keeping and sound corporate governance are maintained, in accordance with the requirements of auditors and government agencies/Regulatory bodies
• Responsible for the timely delivery of regulatory reporting and statistical surveys.
• On ad-hoc basis, support technical accounting projects and system improvement projects.

Required Qualifications: ​

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Equivalent Professional Qualifications (e.g. CA)
• Min 6 years of working experience preferably in a multi-national manufacturing company or CPA firm
• ERP work knowledge is a plus
• Semiconductor industry knowledge is advantageous
• Initial years spent in CPA firms or Chartered Accountants would be helpful

• Coordinates PO tracking through Buyers
• ECO analysis, approval, and coordination of implementation to the supply chain for new products
• Establish plans for supply risks mitigation, eg. identify floor stocks, Safety stocks, VMI / Kanban , long lead time mitigation plans
• Benchmarks and drives cost reduction plans and actions with assigned suppliers
• Derives plans and methods for optimizing the costs associated with a products value chain

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business or Engineering. MBA preferred
• Prefer a candidate that has experience across several operational disciplines such as Commodity Management or Procurement. Candidate will possess extensive experience in a minimum of two skills in the following areas: procurement, commodity management, strategic sourcing, supplier development, planning, program management, master scheduling and factory engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain, commodity management or NPI related function & 10 years operations experience preferred
• Strong understanding of contract manufacturing environment and management of global commodity strategies through a third party provider
• Proven record of managing and driving Continuous Process Improvement activities. Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven.
• Good knowledge of aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation, planning, master scheduling and program management
• Work independently in fast paced environment
• Contract management, negotiation and implementation experience
• Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers and upper management with clarity
• Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; SAP and Team Center preferred,
• Intermediate: Word processing/typing, presentation/PowerPoint/Power BI
