• Supply hook-up technical expertise for the project.
• Supports and cordon the offshore execution phase, considering assistance during the preparatory engineering phase as well.
• Participates in the recruitment of hook-up staff as per project requirement and aCuvity workload
• Prepares hook-up procedures, work sequences, man-hours estimate, planning development. MOB/DEMOB plans of project.
• Defines and follow Mobilization / Demobilization plan of personnel ,Materials, Equipment's required for project.
• Defines Procurement plan for project reiative to equipment, materials, consumables, subcontractors needs.
• Follow-up procurement, utilization, maintenance, storage of the hook up couipment and tools during project execution.
• Follows hook-up consumables on the project.
• Performs Hook-up site visits as required
• Interaces - Coordination with Engineering Department: Constructability review, Review of book up procedures, man power planning, schedule planning preparation, hook up staff recruitment and mobilization.
• Coordinates with HR Department: staff and manpower recruitment, mobilization.
• Coordinates with Client on the offshore vessel operations
• With Offshore HUC Contractor on: procurement of equipment, tools and consumables, assistance to sub-contracting.
• Externally Coordination with Client regarding the scope of work, planning, procedures and overall! organization for project

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and effectively maintain the M&E systems and supervise the M&E team in carrying out duties

• Ensure all projects, preventive maintenance works and SOPs are carried out in excellent quality within the schedule timeline and budget

• Perform site planning, coordination and inspection that related to M&E and facilities

• Oversee and effectively maintain the M&E systems. Analyse faults speedily and recommend holistic, sustainable and cost-effective solutions to the client

• Ensure accurate records and progress reports is prepared on timely manner

• Ensure proper arrangement of site organization and workforce management

• Conduct regular meetings with teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors

• Liaise with the equipment vendors at a technical and professional manner so that equipment faults escalation can be resolved within the shortest possible time

• Ensure the operation teams comply with client & regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in related ACMV, and Electrical or equivalent.

• Minimum Diploma/Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ACMV or equivalent.

• Possess strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently

• Proficiency in MS Office.

The intern will work in the Production department of Keystone Cable factory. He will report to the Plant Manager (mentor) and work alongside engineers / technicians to identify opportunities for factory operations efficiency and productivity improvement.

Expected tasks / responsibilities

1. Job shadow / On-job training, OJT of Production Engineer to understand cable manufacturing process.
2. Problem understanding of current methods of manual production data collection with the intent of improving the process flow and to digitize where possible.
3. Data acquisition of shop floor data to set baseline targets for production improvement
4. Research and testing of hypothesis on production parameters we want to improve
5. Project management of one or two projects to improve factory productivity / efficiency using existing or acquired skillsets.

Learning outcomes and objectives

1. To allow intern to gain a good understanding of the work and responsibilities of a production engineer in a factory.
2. To project manage one or two projects that tackle factory productivity and efficiency problem statements.
3. To apply and extend intern’s skillsets on shop floor data collection and analysis with the objective of improving existing factory systems.
