XCL World Academy is seeking to appoint a Secondary Years Physical Education Teacher. This is a full-time contract position starting from 1 August 2025.Preference will be given to teachers who have relevant subject-specific IB MYP and DP experience, as well as a clear track record of superior teaching in international school settings.

Seeks clarification in case of lack of clarity to fully meet all expectations of the role and sets and maintains high standards of professionalism.
Contributes to the development of curriculum and assessment documentations.
Show exemplary attendance to work eg. recognizes the importance and provides support for XCL extended school day activities.

Person Specifications
Undergraduate degree from a recognized university or college
Possess skills and attitudes aligned to the purpose, mission and vision of XCL World Academy
Need clear eagerness, resilience and understanding to engage and collaborate in the development of a highly aspirational school.
Have demonstrated commitment and education and learning beyond the classroom.
Be flexible and willing to take on new challenges.
Teaching experience and professional certification specific to applied position
Minimum of two years’ experience as a class teacher, preferably in an international K-12 school, IB Programme experience
Salary commensurate with experience (International School) and according to the School's teaching scale.
This is a full time 2 year contract position , renewal will be offered based on performances and class allocations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the requirements and functional solution aspects of the System and all the interconnectivity with external parties
• Analyze and manage the operation backlog and develop business case to address the problem.
• Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the stakeholders needs.
• Work with the stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of the enhancements
• Prepare documentation (e.g. SOPs) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems and identify use cases to automate BAU processes
• Assists with the documentation of technical design, specification, and technical solution.
• Maintains document repositories used by teams and assists with project documentation as needed
• Analyse and streamline operations to minimise recurrent issues

What we are looking for

• Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles
• Past track record in business analysis, application solutioning and design
• Proven experience in managing operations, handling of issues, and systems monitoring.
• Ability to perform qualitative, quantitative and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
• Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies.

• Design and develop: Create and optimize industrial processes, from start to finish
• Test and monitor: Ensure that equipment and production methods are safe and functional
• Analyze data: Gather and analyze data on efficiency and budgets to report to management
• Improve processes: Develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and redesign processes to improve efficiency
• Manage projects: Identify key projects to achieve performance targets, and deliver and start up new equipment and initiatives
• Train and coach: Create learning programs and coach and train technicians
• Ensure safety: Monitor and ensure employee safety, and prepare paperwork to demonstrate adherence to safety standards
• Provide documentation: Provide process documentation and operating instructions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating processes: You may have the responsibility for developing new techniques for packaging, processing and preserving food items. You may test the processes and the usage of food equipment.
• Doing research: It may be necessary for you to conduct in-depth research to develop new food and pharmaceutical products. This might involve studying plants and experimenting with them to change their properties.
• Providing support: Your job might also involve providing technical and marketing support to food manufacturing companies. You may collaborate with other professionals in the food processing industry.
• Developing solutions: As a food engineer, the company you work for may expect you to develop solutions to various challenges arising in food manufacturing and distribution processes. This helps improve the efficiency of food production.
