The Department of History at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a tenure-track position, beginning in August 2025, at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The successful candidate will have a completed PhD degree in History, and have a strong research agenda rooted in World History, with no preference for regions. Candidates should have an international profile commensurate with their rank and stage of career. The Department is particularly interested in applicants with research interests and accomplishments in one or more of the following subfields: gender; science, technology, and society; environment; the ancient world; and international relations. A demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to teaching Introduction to World History as well as more specialized courses for broad undergraduate audiences in the College of the Humanities and Sciences and the Department’s M.A. students. Successful hires are generally accorded, upon application, a start-up grant and thereafter have access to research grants from the Singapore government and other funding institutions. Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire process from RTL to GDS, ensuring the successful implementation of complex semiconductor chips. You will focus on block-level timing closure, formal checks, low power checks, power analysis, and signoff for block-level physical implementation. Your expertise in advanced process nodes, low-power design, and automotive chip physical design will contribute to the development of cutting-edge semiconductor products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the physical design process, overseeing RTL to GDS implementation for semiconductor chips.
• Achieve block-level timing closure by optimizing design constraints, performing timing analysis, and applying optimization techniques.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Officer specializing in AI and spatial multi-omics to join our cutting-edge research team. This role focuses on advancing cancer immunotherapy (IO) for Asian-prevalent tumors through the integration of Generative AI techniques and spatial multi-omics data analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to address critical challenges in immunotherapy, such as the identification of effective biomarkers and an in-depth understanding of the tumor microenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Multi-Omics-IO Classifier Development: Develop and validate a classifier to integrate IO biomarkers identified from the multi-omics analyses, benchmarked against conventional markers (e.g., PD-1/PD-L1).

2. AI Model Development: Create AI models for virtual staining to visualize gene expression and multi-omics biomarkers.

3. Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with pathologists, immunologists, and AI researchers to ensure robust, clinically relevant model development. Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in AI/ML, or a related field with a strong focus on imaging and deep learning.
