Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and grow relationships with key accounts globally
- Develop co-created solutions with customers to enhance offerings and competitiveness
- Mitigate gaps in logistics services delivery
- Develop risk mitigation plans
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop sales performance metrics based on organization's service prices and cost structure approach
- Create vertical business plans to grow market share in vertical sectors
- Drive customer attraction and retention strategies to improve customer loyalty
- Engage in targeted conversations to steer customers to solutions that address their needs
Team Management:
- Manage teams in the workplace
- Optimize use of allocated resources within business activities
Performance Review:
- Review customer needs to enhance offerings and competitiveness
- Review sales performance metrics to enhance sales outcomes
- Review sales proposals and tender documents
- Shape sales outcome effectiveness
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, and marketing
- Experience in international business, with a strong understanding of global markets and trade practices
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and making independent business decisions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Resourceful and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
- A min of Diploma education is required.
