Core Responsibilities
1) Specialised Support and Connection with HNS
Provide tailored support and guidance across various HNS programmes to foster meaningful connections.
Cultivate an inclusive and supportive atmosphere conducive to growth and engagement.
2) Monitoring and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive records, sharing insights on HNS development with the Core Team and Form Teachers.
Track individual student by providing interpretive anecdotes and assessments of HNS progress, attendance, personal experiences such as challenges, and achievements during the programmes.
3) Supporting HNS through Project F.L.Y@Innova Acheivers Programme
Plan, implement and review after school activities in various domains (e.g. Art, Music, Sports etc) to meaningfully engage HNS focusing on building resilience, self-esteem & self-efficacy, developing SEL competencies and strengthening peer support.
Provide one-on-one and group support to HNS during the F.L.Y Achievers programme, fostering an environment that nurtures growth and fosters inclusivity.
3) Supporting HNS through Project L.O.L@Innova Leaders Programme
Plan, implement and review a group mentoring after school programme to engage HNS focusing on building self-worth, mindfulness, resilience and compassion.
Provide tailored experiential learning, cultivating communication skills, diverse perspectives, and mutual support.
4) Supporting students through Project F.L.Y@Pathfinder Programme
Plan, implement and review a termly relationship-building and team-building programme for the P3 and P5 students and their Form Teachers at the start/end of each term.
Design and implement a level-wide conflict resolution programme for one level of students.
5) Supporting HNS through Homework Support Club
Foster a conducive environment within the Homework Club to aid HNS in completing their homework effectively.
Offer personalised assistance to HNS, aiding in structuring their homework schedule, monitoring learning advancements, and cultivating positive study habits and attitudes while providing academic support whenever possible.
Facilitate relationship-building through individual or small-group activities when homework tasks are progressing satisfactorily.
6) Conducting Staff Workshops
Support staff development by conducting appropriate staff training workshops that will aid in the support of HNS.
