Position: ICT Trainer and Multimedia Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Teaching: Conduct engaging ICT training for students in areas such as design (Canva), video editing (CapCut), and animation (FlipaClip) as part of the school’s Digital Literacy Programme.
- Multimedia Integration: Collaborate with teachers to incorporate multimedia content, including videos and interactive elements, into lessons.
- Curriculum Development: Work with educators to develop multimedia-rich content aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- ICT Support: Assist in supporting the school’s iPad programme for both students and staff, along with AV support for school events.
- Content Management: Update the school’s website with relevant content and create corporate videos for school publicity.
- Project Involvement: Lead ICT projects in the school’s Digital Literacy Programme, provide progress updates, prepare documentation, and offer AV/IT training for staff and students.
- Ad-Hoc Training: Provide training sessions on iPad use and email login for new transfer students.

- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad-based, balanced, relevant, and differentiated EdTech curriculum, including Maker activities, to students from Primary 1 to 6 levels.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- To facilitate learning which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential through EdTech learning experiences, e.g., training and sending selected students out for competitions.
- To support and be aligned with the school’s aspiration and responsibility in providing opportunities to develop students holistically.
Planning:
- To assist in the development of appropriate schemes of work towards identified EdTech and Maker activities’ syllabuses. To develop teaching resources, schemes of work, assessment policies, and teaching strategies in the identified EdTech curriculum area.
- To contribute to the EdTech development in the school and the ICT Department’s development plan and its implementation.
- To ensure department documentation and practice in relation to Health and Safety is in place and adhered to (based on regulatory requirements).
- To assist in the developmental process of a school-based EdTech curriculum to ensure its relevance for alignment to the needs of students, examining and awarding bodies, and the Authority’s ethos.
- To work in collaboration with the ICT technical team to ensure that the ICT equipment is in good working order and suitable for teaching and learning use.
General Duties:
- Support in EdTech-related teaching and learning matters and students as appropriate.
- Be continuously updated on the latest EdTech-related and ICT-related skillsets which are deemed important to support one in carrying out the professional duties in this role.
- Support the ICT team in operational matters.
Knowledge:
- A full awareness of the current issues relating to the EdTech development in schools.
- Proficient knowledge in the use of EdTech.
- Basic programming knowledge.
