Advising clients on styles, colours and treatment best suited for them.

Applying hair care products such as treatment oils and masks.

Job Requirement

Preferably with Nitec/Certification specialized in Hair and Beauty

Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colourist or similar role are preferred. Entry level candidates are also welcome to apply.

Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers

Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths

Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin treatment

Up-to-date with industry trends

Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

· Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

· Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

· Organize and supervise shifts

· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

· Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

· Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

· Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

· Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

· Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements and skills

· Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or similar role

· Proven customer service experience as a manager

· Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

· Familiarity with restaurant management software

· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

· Acute financial management skills

· any diploma in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus

· Providing and maintaining high quality standards and procedures in preparing and serving all food.
· Maintaining solid knowledge of all food products and is able to skillfully apply culinary techniques.
· Responsible for preparation of all aspects of restaurants foods, hot and cold; including banquets and special events.
· Ensuring that all food quality meets specifications and guarantees.
· Maintaining a solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base stocks and soups.
· Regularly restocks all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.

· Assisting in lowering all food costs and wastes.
· Ensuring all products are rotating on a first-in, first-out philosophy.
· Maintains a solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
· Maintaining a high level of professionalism
· Working as a team, assisting all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries.
· Effectively communicating with management, chefs and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
