• Conduct geological surveys and site assessments to identify soil, rock, and groundwater conditions.
• Check the record of investigation work for accuracy and adequacy.

• Assess subsurface conditions to check adequacy for structure foundations.
• Provide recommendations for excavation, piling, or other ground improvement techniques.
• Identify potential geological hazards and propose strategies to minimize risks during construction.
• Develop contingency plans for unforeseen geological challenges.
• Collaboration with Design Teams
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to integrate geological data into design and construction plans.
• Suggest modifications based on geological findings to enhance project safety and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to geology and construction.
• Prepare detailed reports, including maps, diagrams, and findings from geological investigations.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geological recommendations.
• Address geological issues that arise during excavation, tunnelling, or other construction processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology,
• With certificate in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA), SEC(K) higher Skill is an advantage with 8 years’ relevant experience.
• Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Oversee taking of quantities, sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, pricing, and preparation of submission

• Relevant experience in contract and QS
