JOB SUMMARY
- The Manager, Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) Communications, is responsible for delivering the development and execution of the WRB internal communications plan, supporting external communications, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s communications policy across all WRB communications. The role holder must:
- Be passionate about communications, storytelling, full of creative and innovative ideas, and have a design flair for creating impactful content.
- Be an expert communicator with superior writing skills who can work seamlessly across content formats, from articles to social-media copy, video and infographics.
- Have a sound understanding of best practice in communications, in the financial sector and beyond.
- Be well-organised and a fast learner, with experience of working on complex, timebound, multiple-stakeholder projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help position WRB Communications as a centre of excellence for best-in-class communications, keeping an eye on latest industry/digital media trends to assist in bringing content innovation into internal as well as external Communications.
- Execute the internal global WRB business communications strategy
- Work closely with the Group and Country CABM teams to ensure alignment of WRB and CABM communications objectives and activities
- Identify opportunities which directly support business operations and the achievement of business goals
- Elevate creativity and design quality for internal/external communications
- Help to ensure continuous improvement in WRB Communications processes, including planning, tracking, submissions, logistics, performance measurement.
- Take ownership of internal communications content of WRB MT, support with key milestone draft and submission process.
- Look for opportunities to learn from colleagues, and join internal and external training programs and events to build and maintain excellent content-creation skills
- Support WRB Communications in adhering to the Group’s operational risk management framework
- Exemplary conduct and commitment to ethical practices and compliance.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 6+ years of experience in a banking / regulated financial institution or equivalent such as fintech
• Should be passionate about communications, digital media, storytelling, creative content creation and have a design flair for creating impactful content
• Expert communicator with superior writing skills who can work seamlessly across content formats, from articles to social-media copy, video and infographics
• Strong planning skills and attention to detail
• Experience in corporate communications, events, publishing and/or journalism
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, including senior management and third-party vendors, across multiple locations
• Experience working with external agencies (Content, PR, Design production) preferred.
