Our client, a global multinational corporation, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join their team. This leadership role will be responsible for driving the development of an integrated infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and technology strategies.
The Role: The Architect will design and implement comprehensive solutions across key domains, including Modern Workplace, Server, Network, Storage, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, while adhering to architectural best practices. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to guide infrastructure design and strategies, alongside evaluating and recommending innovative technologies to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Additionally, the architect will develop both high-level and low-level design documentation, conduct risk assessments, and propose effective strategies to address technical challenges. Leading the optimization of technology processes, managing technical debt, and ensuring the delivery of future-ready solutions will also be key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining architectural principles, providing technical leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Ideal Candidate: Should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, with at least ten years of experience in technical engineering management or solution architecture, ideally in cloud-first environments. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CISSP, are highly desirable. A strong background in IT infrastructure, network architecture, cloud computing with Azure and AWS, and cybersecurity tools is essential, along with familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO27001 and PCIDSS. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and effective communication to manage priorities and convey complex technical solutions to diverse audiences. Experience with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code will be a valuable asset in this role.
