Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Industrial Machinery)
• Position Title: Draughtsman
• Working Location: Geylang
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs for industrial machinery using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to generate drawings based on client specifications.
• Modify existing drawings to reflect design changes or client feedback.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and company guidelines in all drawings.
• Prepare assembly and fabrication drawings for manufacturing teams.
• Support project teams with drawings for new machinery designs and modifications to existing equipment.
• Maintain and update drawing databases, ensuring all designs are properly documented and archived.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including bills of materials and design specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs meet production and material capabilities.
• Ensure all technical drawings are completed within project timelines and delivered to required departments for execution.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and optimizing of complex SQL queries to generate reports from the data platform.
• Ensure the accuracy, security and reliability of data used in generated reports. Making sure that the data follows local regulations and company policies.
• Support the creation of data visualization tools and dashboards, ensuring they are built on robust and reliable structures within the company's data platform.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Management teams.
• Liaise with business departments to understand their reporting requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Identify automation opportunities and manage departmental automation processes.
• Improve data collection models and ensure the performance of datasets.
• Develop and maintain documentation including data dictionaries and report definitions.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and programming.
• Experience using Python and PowerApps is an added advantage.
