Overview
As a WSH Coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager in the daily operation of executing the company’s safety regulations and practices in the workplaces.
Responsibilities
1) Assist WSH Officer on safety and health matters.
2) Execute appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
3) Liaise closely with Project Managers, main contractors, contracts and authority, etc. on all safety and health issues.
4) Assist in accident / incident reporting and investigations as well as hold toolbox meetings and all WSH matters execution.
5) Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations and Company Construction work policies.
6) Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
7) Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
8) Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance and inform Project Manager accordingly.
9) Attend to all feedback on safety irregularities and inform the WSH Officer accordingly.
10) Ensure all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.
11) Ensure all parties at work are following the safe work procedures compliance.
12) Assist Project Manager to liaise with relevant authority visiting / complain or feedback, if necessary.
Requirements
1) At least a Professional certificate / Nitec or equivalent.
2) Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA (Level B).
3) At least 1 years of working experience in construction industry.
4) A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
5) Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.
6) Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
7) Physically Fit, healthy, hardworking and can work on weekends.
