Job Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, partners, colleagues) on data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs.
• Work with data scientists to gather data requirements for modeling.
• Design, develop, document, manage, and maintain data models, ETL processes, data warehouses, data management, and pipeline solutions for large volumes of structured/unstructured data from various sources with different latencies (on-demand, batch, real-time, near-real-time).
• Define, monitor, and report SLAs for data pipelines and products.
• Ensure data security and governance standards are met.
• Execute data quality assurance practices.
• Support data management solutions pre-sales initiatives, proposal development, and provide post-sales support.

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Expertise in relational/non-relational/NoSQL databases and enterprise data warehouses/marts.
• Proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase).
• Knowledge of data ingestion technologies (e.g., Flume, Kafka, NiFi).
• Experience in scripting, programming, and software development (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, R, MATLAB, Scala, SQL) for Windows or Linux.
• Experience in master data management, data governance, and data lifecycle management.
• Skilled in designing, documenting, implementing, and supporting data management solutions.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices (development, programming, testing, version control).
• Knowledge of data privacy and security assurance.
• Understanding of machine learning, computer vision, and large language models is a plus.

Job Description

• Position: Warehouse Operation Assistant
• Well Established Singapore Based Seafood Processing SME
• Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm); Saturday (8:00am – 12:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $1,800 + OT + Variable Bonus (Minimum 1 Month)

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry, generate reports, and update Goods Receiving and Goods Issue in warehouse management system (WMS) accurately.
• Oversee loading & unloading of goods with contractors.
• Inspect food shipments for temperature, hygiene, quality, shelve life, labeling and marking requirements.
• Perform counts, weights, and case packs of incoming shipments to verify information against purchase orders.
• Perform put away for cargo received into proper warehouse locations.
• Perform picking internal requisitions from warehouse locations and execute internal distribution.
• Perform monthly stock taking to ensure accurate inventory.
• Operating forklift while ensuring safe handling of cargoes.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Physically fit as you are required to load and unload goods at 10-20kg.
• Possess a valid Forklift license.
• Able to commit overtime when needed.
• Able to work in a cold environment (+- 15°C).
