Your role

Our major Oil and Gas Downstream Client is looking for Security, Safety, Health and Environment (SSHE) Officer provides field leadership on SSHE. You will observe, participate, support, and intervene in the General Contractors Safety Processes and executes Safety Programs which are in whole or part the responsibility of the Project Team, including OIMS and LPS. The Role has interfaces with Client Project Construction Supervisors and the Supervisors and Personnel of the General Contractor.

Responsibilities and duties:

Observation & Intervention

Principal function is SSHE observation and intervention on site works including.
• Observes site works and activities and provides guidance and intervention on SSHE related matters.
• Observes site works and activities and flags potential construction or coordination issues to construction supervisors.
• Observes and verifies key General Contractor SSHE processes such as Safety Meetings & Attendance.
• Verbally advises relevant personnel of issues identified and logs them and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
• Tracks status of recommendations to prevent re-occurrence and supports closeout of recommendations.
• Performs Verification and Validation on previously closed recommendations to ensure that recommendations are fully implemented and remain effective.
• Develops and maintains Checklist to enhance and document the SSHE observation process.

Loss Prevention System

• Observes and supports General Contractor LPS training programs.
• Observes and supports General Contractor implementation of all aspects of LPS.
• Completes Loss Prevention Observation and supports Project Team LPS Implementation.

Training and Development

• Observes and supports General Contractor technical training programs.
• Observes and supports General Contractor implementation of all aspects of technical training programs.
• Participates in “Buddy System” with Project Team Members to enhance knowledge and understanding.
• Participates in formal SSHE and technical training to enhance knowledge and understanding.
• Maintains technical knowledge of contractual obligations of all parties involved in the project

You are what we are looking for if you:

• Have minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas downstream, refinery, and/or chemicals industry
• Have lifting experience preferably

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of material handling equipment, forklifts, tractors, equipment and various systems in warehouse.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous equipment operation.
• Working with vendors to ensure that operations are not disrupted.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of working experience in warehouse equipment handling
• Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering
• Comfortable working in harsh environments such as cold rooms, high humidity, wet conditions and steamy environment and also able to work at high ground

• Working hours: 6 days rotating shift (morning, afternoon and overnight shift)

Key Responsibilities:

· Circulate suppliers' invoices to various departments for verification and approval before posting.
