Duties of a Recovery Nurse

Recovery nurses provide critical care to patients before and after surgery. Recovery nurses treat a wide range of patients. They clean wounds, administer medication and monitor the progress of the patients' conditions

Before Surgery

• Work with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for surgery.
• To record vital signs, instruct patients on the details of the procedures and administer intravenous therapy and medication.
• Help doctors transfer patients to the operating room, and may be asked to clean wounds, sterilize equipment and make sure patients' rooms are ready for their arrival.
• To communicate with loved ones and inform them of patients' conditions.

After Surgery

After surgery, recovery nurses are patients' primary care givers.

• Monitor their vital signs, clean bandages and comfort patients when they wake up from anesthesia.
• Administer tests, analyze lab results and report back to surgeons and doctors.
• Track the progress of patients' conditions, and ensure patients receive adequate rest, food, fluids and nutrients.

The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition leads a team of 13 recruiters, partnering with business leaders and key stakeholders to meet diverse manpower needs. This role owns the talent acquisition strategy for educators, corporate, and support roles across the organization. As a strategic partner, the Senior Manager stays ahead of market trends to shape recruitment efforts, guiding the end-to-end process in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement talent acquisition strategies locally and internationally to meet business objectives, considering current and emerging market trends.
• Manage and motivate a recruitment team, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
• Advise business leaders on recruitment strategies and plans to attract top talent for corporate, educator, and support roles.
• Develop and drive a pipeline strategy to optimize time-to-fill and attract talent for the Management Associate Programme.
• Collaborate with government agencies, corporate partners, and institutions for outreach and internship programs.
• Strengthen internal employer branding and recruitment campaigns to attract the right talent.
• Provide data-driven insights and reports to leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the talent acquisition budget and spending.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 8 years in Talent Acquisition
• Proven success in managing and leading recruitment teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and writing Spring Batch programs for different types of file processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new products and improve the existing systems in our microservices architecture
• Develop and maintain documentation of the microservices architecture, including design patterns, best practices and coding standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot and provide production support for microservices based applications

Skills/Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java development with proven track record worked in successful implementations from scratch.

• Must have:

a. Experience in developing and deploying microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Batch.

b. Experience of developing RESTful web services and related technologies such as JSON, Swagger and XML

c. Worked on Java 17.

d. Awareness of Helm implementation, OpenShift concepts of deployment and monitoring pods.

e. Aware of basic SQL queries, and Spring Hibernate.

f. Experience to write down Unit Tests using different frameworks like Mockito, Junit5 etc.

g. Experience on Elastic logging and different logging libraries/annotation to be used in Spring Framework for logging.

h. Experience in JIRA and Bitbucket.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Domain knowledge in trading products in the banking sector is preferred although not mandatory.
