· Ability to apply ergonomics principles to the work environment and maintain focus during repetitious tasks over the course of a shift

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 2 years of directly related experience OR

· Associate’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 4 years of directly related experience OR

· High School Diploma in Science or Engineering / GED and 6 years of directly related experience

· Knowledge of plant and unit operations (autoclave, parts washers, process equipment), good problem-solving skills

· Demonstrate commitment to cGMP, EHS compliance aspects of clean-room plant operation, prior experience and demonstration of cGMP knowledge is a plus

· Excellent self-motivated team player with hands-on attitude and good communication skills

· Experience with Emerson DeltaV, LIMS, TrackWise

· Ability and willingness to work any shift in support of operations that may include 24/7

· Ability to perform basic computer operations, such as ability to navigate in MS Office, use email, and complete training using LMS.

· Ability to understand, apply and evaluate basic chemistry, biology and physical principles

· Mechanical ability/expertise

Job Description

• Project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Employer expectation,
• Responsible for analysing, manage and track project costs again budget.
• Manage in-house MEP design works, including basic design, detailed design, shop drawing and BIM coordination.
• Responsible for coordination with architecture, C&S and Process, ICA and other trades.
• Attend technical and site coordinate meetings with Employer, Consultants, Main Contractor and other contractors.
• To assess and resolve any technical or site issues related to M&E works with Consultants and Employer.
• Responsible for construction activities by In-house installation teams, site safety, arrange timely delivery of M&E equipment and materials.
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC,
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards and safety aspects.
• Participate in tender preparation for new projects

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Building Service M&E background
• Min 8 years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in building construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Tender Bidding and Project cost Analytical and Critical Thinking
• Problem Solving
• Proactive and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
• Creativity & adaptability
• Interpersonal and communication skills & leadership
• QP/PE, Green Mark manager or other BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification is an advantage

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Facilities Manager in the daily operations
• Deputise as and when required if the Facilities Manager is not around
• Manage the team of technical officers, sub-contractors, supervise & coordinate facility management activities and ensure all works adhere to legal regulations
• Attend to any cases raised including after hours by the Client which includes the tenants where applicable
• Preparation of monthly and incident reports pertaining to the site(s)
• Ensure smooth operations on site(s)
• Manage ad-hoc project(s)
• Facilitate incident investigation whenever necessary
• To be rostered on 24-hr mobile standby team after office hour

About you:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building / Facilities / Real Estate Management or equivalent or a Degree in Project and Facilities Management or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• A certified Fire Safety Manager would be advantageous
